NEXT YEARS FORMAT.

Now that the Colts have jumped into the free agent market, we probably will not see any live game action this year. EA sports is setting up to do the same thing nascar is doing right now. virtual games via remote play at team facilities. And the games will count! Vegas is on board and the advertisers are more than willing. What timing! The only alternative is watching last season again with new commercials. Just like Golf.

That would suck to lose a season altogether.   I also will not watches a video game where people are playing each other.   I'd rather watch a computer vs computer match up.   Still wouldn't watch much of it.

Fanduel is already doing eNBA and eNFL games off the 2K games and Madden. Honestly pretty fun. It's a temporary replacement to try and win money while sports aren't happening right now.

How do you bet if you don't know who is playing?

the games wont count but the nba and nascar are both getting serious about sponsoring these events

https://www.engadget.com/2020-03-30-nba-2k-players-only-tournament-espn.html.  there will probably be gambling too, i have not looked into it though.  the nfl will probably do the same if the season gets cancelled or delayed
