2020 Gavin Mock Draft, Rounds 1 - 7 (merge)

Recommended Posts

Kansas City Chiefs continue to strengthen their defense, looking to home-grow talent. Their run defense has improved of late, but there are some costly contracts to be get out of.

With 132nd overall pick in 2020 Gavin Mock Draft, Kansas City Chiefs select

Akeem Davis-Gaither, LB, Appalachian State

Akeem has excellent range for a linebacker, can be good in coverage and defending run, can line up as OLB, can line up inside and blitz. He's new to the position, and will need to develop better processing skills, but he's the most exciting prospect at the position at this stage in my board.

First round will start March 23rd, 8 AM EST. This will allow MOST of FA to be completed and probably most trades.   Will run with last year's rules with some tweaks. 3 hour clock time.  You

Dang it's been a rough go of it. Contrary to what people are believing Tua is not the Dolphins pick here, the injury history has scared them to much so instead they go with one of the more polished QB

Going with BPA here. The Denver Broncos select Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson.   The Miami Dolphins and @twfish are on the clock!

With the 134th pick in the 2020 Gavin Mock Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select:

Isaiah Hodgins, WR, Oregon State

The Ravens select their second WR of the draft, hoping to give Lamar even more weapons in an already dynamic offense.

@Zoltan is now on the clock for the Pittsburgh Steelers!

Good pick.  I was targeting him with one of my end of round picks for Eagles!

So far, Indianapolis has filled many holes, both outside and inside. Now, with most of our holes filled, it is time to start looking for BPA.Though this position on our team is relatively strong, the BPA here is very clear above others, and will be the pick here.

With the 136th Pick in the 2020 Gavin Mock Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select:

Antonio Gibson, RB/WR, Memphis

Every team in the NFL is always looking for that guy who can be a multi-faceted weapon for the offense. Gibson is that guy. He has future 3-down back potential, giving us the option to let Mack walk if his asking price is too high, and can be used in many different areas on the field, at RB, H-back, in the slot, and out wide. He is extremely dynamic with the ball in his hands, and because of that defenses will have to check where he is on the field at all times.

What say you, Colts Fans? Yea or Nay to this pick? I know it'll catch more flak than the others.

@stitches and the Jacksonville Jaguars are now on the clock!

At first glance he looks like a Reich-type of weapon...I'm totally cool with the pick.

These are the kinds of mid-late round guys that we hope Ballard strikes gold with.

Dang it you!!! I was hoping he'd fall to the Falcons pick!!

With Michael Pittman Jr., K J Hamler, and Antonio Gibson, you have made Funchess, Rogers and Fountain expendable.

I'd still think our defense could have used a pick here because I do not think we do anything more than double dip on the WR front. Nevertheless, the quality of the pick, I cannot argue with.

Haha, I knew he wouldn't last much longer. And I project Gibson as a RB first, so I don't consider it picking again at WR

For the record... SF is on the clock... this pick was traded last night. Looks like the Round 4 list needs updating.

Oh sorry about that... I didn't know. Who's running SF?

edit: Oh I see it's you...

Taking suggestions for the Bucs pick now. Any thoughts??

2 offensive tackles, 1 RB (Swift) and 1 QB (Eason) are their picks so far.

Ok. @Zoltan had sent a PM for his Steelers pick, not his Bucs pic.

Leki Fotu is off now. Any other recommendations for the Bus? Once we decide, then Twfish can be on the clock for his pick.

Sorry for the confusion.
