Vikings are just assembling talent. Scheme fit or not, given that Mike Zimmer may not be back with the Vikes if they don't make the playoffs, it is good to get talented players.

With the 99th pick of the Gavin Mock Draft, the Vikings select another unknown...

Johnathan Greenard, EDGE, Florida

Athletic, intelligent edge defender with enticing flashes as both a run defender and pass rusher. Greenard's plus get-off and ability to bend and corner the edge are predictive traits for success as an NFL rusher...

@Archer You're up again.

What do you like about him over Simpson? Check out what Lance has to say.

I like John Simpson too, but I think he will fit right in an OL like Raiders and may exceed the expectations, as they use gap or power rushing concepts with zone mixed in. In mostly zone blocking scheme like ours or Browns, some reports suggest he has tightness in his hips that would restrict his mobility and flexibility required for zone rushing. I guess that's the only concern, otherwise he has powerful hands that displaces defensive linemen which could work well for any scheme if he gets it consistently right. I think the worry is that restriction may not be fixable for all schemes, and as you said we may need to have different running style to fit such players.

We are all projecting based on what scouts say, so it's not concrete one way or other. It depends on the individual and his willpower to achieve the ceiling, so no one is right or wrong now. Both Jackson and Simpson need some development period like others at this point, we will have to see who achieves their ceiling.

Sorry bro.  I mean no disrespect at all.  But if it's not work it's kids so finding the time to keep up with this is difficult.  @chad72 This could probably be directed at you as well.  I know you guys work hard to keep this thing going and I'm not trying to be difficult or make your job (as a volunteer no less) harder.

Totally understand. @csmopar is just sticking to the rules he framed earlier for the sake of moving the draft along. It is nothing personal against you, life happens, we all know that. :)

I’ll echo what chad said, no disrespect intended, no hard feelings, just have to keep

things moving

The biggest weakness by far for the Seahawks was their OT.

Seattle took Josh Jones in Round 1 and will follow it up with another...

Seahawks select OT Matt Peart

There's reports saying Peart might project to be an OG too.

Nice pick.  I thought long and hard about him...

The defending Super Bowl champions need to make life easier for Mahomes by strengthening their defense, especially after he carried them to the Lombardi trophy after 50 years of drought. Andy Reid comes back fresh with the mindset to make the team even more tough to beat.

After adding DT Neville Gallimore in the first round,

With the #105 overall pick in 2020 Gavin Mock Draft, Kansas City Chiefs select

Troy Pride Jr, CB, Notre Dame

@WarGhost21 and Baltimore Ravens are on the clock for the final pick of third round.

With the 106th pick in the 2020 Gavin Mock Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select:

Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina

They need a WR2 to pair with Marquise Brown, and they find it here in Edwards.

That concludes the 3rd round! Well done everyone, and I'm sure the commish will have the 4th round thread up shortly!

Great pick, his performance in the Senior Bowl raised a lot of eyebrows and Troy Pride Jr. would be a good addition to most NFL rosters.

LA Rams need to get younger and lighter in cap space, while also adding talent to compensate for the regression in talent, especially after losing few good pieces in trenches.

Jordan Elliott, DL, Missouri

The steal of the Draft

It may surprise you to find out that it was Elliott and not Auburn’s Derrick Brown who was the highest-graded defensive tackle in all of college football last season. Elliott earned a 92.4 overall grade this season with a 91.1 in both run defense and as a pass-rusher. For some context, Brown earned a 90.8 overall grade this season while former SEC defensive tackles Quinnen Williamsand Jeffery Simmons earned grades of 96.0 and 92.8, respectively, last season. That’s some nice company to keep for a guy with little to no first-round buzz at the moment.
