There has been some question about his processing speed but he is really good on the white board and shows he understands plays. I would think that would eventually show up on the field. He needs to clean up some mechanics so he hits WR better in stride.

My biggest concern is the lack of precision in the Air Raid system, which has not translated well to the NFL, which leads to WRs being stared at and footwork not being taught well. Minshew was successful more because of his ability to extend plays, and it takes a LOT of work to establish timing coming from a system that did not emphasize precision. Hence, an out of the pocket ability goes a long way till that timing happens.

 

But then, a 3rd round QB, chances are, it is more hoping than materializing, typically. Just keeping it honest here. If anyone is expecting Minshew like success that happened quicker than expected, they will definitely be disappointed.

I really believe he will be a productive NFL QB

he is fun as HELL to watch.

I like the way he moves in the pocket, just simple moves to hide behind a blocker and he seems to have the "it" factor.

course, it's against a slightly lower level of competition.

whoever gets him, he should be fun to watch.
