Why would we want a 35 year old injury prone TE

Because he'll come cheap and won't cost Ballard anything. There is not much on the market as far as Tight Ends go. Personally, I think Ballard should take a flier on Tyler Eifert. Sign him to a 1 year $2-$3 million dollar contract.

Maybe Ballard heard about the next Lethal Weapon installment and wanted to pay homage!

Did the Steelers re-sign McDonald?

I like the way you think. He didn't play half bad last year. Sign a flier like that and then draft a young one to groom.

Yeah he is old, but I will say he's an excellent receiver and he can block too.

He doesn't have those stone hands like Ebron.

I still remember this catch:

This game was another Brissett choke job.

They restructured his deal.

Honestly I'd probably prefer Vernon Davis if I'm going to go for an ageless wonder.
