not enough .   Hold out PM. He's worth more than that

20 million not enough? How much do you think he's worth?

I hope he doesn't take it; ESPN has their own problems. I'm not able to watch  Manning because I don't have the channel.

It should just be 2 people in the booth IMO, I can live with Joe T - he isn't great but a good play by play guy. He was great doing boxing. Booger is the one that is just bad as a side kick, Peyton would bring a lot to the table much like Romo does for Nantz.

I can't stand ESPN .  I hope he makes them pay dearly.  He should get twice what Romo gets

Don't get ESPN . I assume you are on the farmer 5?

ESPN has went way downhill since Disney took over their company. They are too political for my taste and have lost several good employees over the last 5 years.

Make hay while the sun shines, Peyton. While I feel it is ridiculous for broadcasters to be paid like a QB during their playing days, you strike while the iron is hot. It always comes with a time commitment that takes you away from family, so we will see what Peyton decides. If he is already doing Peyton's Place, he is already putting the time in because that is in his DNA, can't separate himself from the game whatsoever.

Not a fan of this idea. I would rather see him as a GM. Just because you can throw a football does not make you a great communicator.

Throwing a football doesn't make you a great GM either.

 You don't know that.

And you don't know that he can't be a good broadcaster.    He has shown he can be great commentating.

It's not like Peyton needs the money. He already has enough to last him and all of his family if invested correctly. I think he is smart enough he has it covered.

I couldn't care less about ESPN or what they do as far as announcers. What once was a great sports channel has turned into a pile of :censored:.

I miss the days of just reporting the facts of whatever I am interested in. The media in general totally sucks.

Never watched and never will.

Really?  Kind of hard to believe because I think Peyton's Place was the only thing on ESPN that was worth watching.

Sorry, your loss.
