Played.   Past tense.

His contract was up or he was cut.    Either way,  it looked like he wasn't coming back.

Now,  that's the understatement of the year!

157 pounds of the stuff?     That's Nate Newton kinda weed.....

I read somewhere that they might be facing 20 years in prison. Hell lot of time.

At my previous workplace we employed inmates at 'inner workplace' (within the prison area), I couldn't serve a week...

Yeah, I don't think I could survive a day. Lol. But man, how dumb can they be! Haven't they saved enough so that they don't have to be involved in selling/distributing drugs?

Forgot about Quan Bray but that's actually pretty nuts. 157 pounds of marijuana hidden in a car on the US/Mexico border? That's like some Narco's type stuff.

Exactly my sentiment...they made a boatload of money. All they had to do was making less risky investments.

I don't know if you can actually hide 157 pounds of marijuana in a car.  That's a big pile of pot.

What a couple of *s.

    • That's your way to do it? With a post like that? Ok.   Thread was about our coach statement.    Responded to poster, that took it from football, to questions about situation. Which I answered pretty eloquently, imo.   I much prefer talking about football, as you can see from my post after the op. I stated I'm happy he is our coach and players will give their all to him. I cant wait to see them lay it on the line.   If you don't want threads derailed, please post towards the poster, who derailed it in the first place, and don't come in with more derailing material in the post where you ask for the thread to not be derailed anymore. Will most likely only get a response, which will further derail the thread.   Back to football now?
    • Pretty sure I was responding to someone taking a shot at the Patriots.  At least I have that going for me.
    • Moss was great for 2 years there. thats it. Gronk was great when he played, yes. You do realize that Welker did nothing before coming to NE?  Brady made him famous.   Fact is, Peyton always had first round picks on his offense. Brady did not. That was my point.
    • You mean like being instantly fired. Losing the civil immunity cops usually need to do their job. And then being charged with murder. All within 96 hours, before the riots even started? The entire country; white, black, cops, non-cops all agreed that this was unacceptable behavior for the police and the world responded. That kind of accountable?    And THEN after all that, they burned down their city. And 140 other cities along with it.   Cops are fired every. single. day. Cops go to jail every. single. day. Cops speak up about their fellow cops every. single. day. They just do it properly and appropriately through their chains of command. You don't hear about it because its not a fun soundbite.   Can we go back to talking about football, please?
    • Yup. Purely my opinion, but I think Blackmon  is more well rounded than Willis. I think Willis ends up the #3 guy, and the guy who plays Nickel or Dime S in some personnel packages. I'd be happy if they just let Willis play on run downs at SS, and Blackmon play SS during passing downs to start off.   Tell is an interesting project. He's got the body/speed of a tall CB but doesn't have the tackling physicality needed for SS. I could see him moved back to FS though. The experiment to CB last year might be over sooner than later. It's really his make or break year. If Rodes and Carrie do well at CB, they could move him back to S early.   Did you see Blackmon put that hit on the WR the first play when Utah was on D?
