Colts trade down 2x in this mock

Recommended Posts

Ballard’s been preaching the 3t. If he doesn’t like the QB at 13 I doubt he is passing on Kinlaw. Kinlaw wants to play for the colts and he seems like a colts kind of guy.

How do we know he wants to play for the colts. Did I miss something?

I guess it's possible he could trade back. But the only way I see that happening is if all of the key players at the top of his board end up being gone before 13.

This is a strange offseason. Most of us have not been in a position where our team has needed a QB on top of everything else. As many will say, we've been spoiled.

I believe he has actually mentioned it. I would have to do some digging to see if I can find it.

The idea of adding one of Hargrave or Reader with Kinlaw keeps me up at night. Haha!

If Kinlaw is gone i would expect a trade back.
Looks like we would add Atlanta's pick 47 and the Eagles pick 85 with these trade backs.
Ballard could add 2 more quality prospects that high in the draft.

    • I'm confused. He's 6 2 218 pounds. He was easily our biggest WR before we drafted Pittman
    • Prediction, yes prediction
    • Not trying to be a butthead. I just think TOP is overrated. A team like KC who won all year without winning TOP (because of quick strike O) can win TOP when they need to even though it's not their style. To me, it's simply about scoring (fast or slow), but more importantly, moving the chains. And you have to be able to do it by both running and passing. Personally, I like having a quick strike team in the 1st half, and then punishing run game killing TOP the 2nd half while we're up a couple TDs.   I'd also point out it has a lot to do with matchups.
    • I love Pascal, but hope it turns out he's the 4th, 5th, or 6th best WR on the team. We have a lot of high potential guys. I'm not saying Pascal can't get better, but he's a bit limited by measurables.
    • I didnt put the style I expect us to play, like I did in my initial response.   Didn't think I needed to put all that again   This supports my point. They had the best record in the league, while having the combo.   They ran into Derrick Henry, they sure weren't stopping the run that day. Gave up 217 yards. Did win TOP though somehow?    Again, not sure why you want to argue about it. Guess its just one of those days for me.   The only thing that proved is KC won the TOP and stopped the run better that day. Which was in fact the "winning formula". Whichever team did it all year doesnt matter. It is what won the game that day.   they clearly choked. I think we have a more balanced attack that can at the same time control the TOP.     Here's to that. I will be rooting for the same thing my fellow Colts fan.   Thanks for the interaction
