I'm not advocating for keeping him - it's a tough decision for the FO I'm sure. But I'm thinking we won't be in nearly as many 1-score games this coming season. If that is true, having Vinny around won't be nearly as potentially detrimental as it was last season.
Thank you! I chose the two supremely talented but needs refinement tackles because Castonzo was signed for two years and Braden Smith is young so neither would need to be rushed into the lineup. Plus I like Brycen's skillset more than Kmet even though I'm a Notre Dame fan.....call me crazy.....lol......Kmet already seems more like Doyle where we need a down the seams type guy? Of course, all my humble opinion of course.
I like Wilson, Wanted to draft him, he can tackle, has size and speed. For some reason he doesn't appear to practice hard or well. I have seen players for some reason practice poorly, or lazily, and preform on game day. But you got to earn it first. He is young, maybe feels entitled? He has landed himself in the doghouse by not doing that. I think his lack of play, plays on his confidence! The best he played was when Mike Mitchell was here, maybe he needs a big brother apparently? Either way the skill set is there, my hope he plays up to his ability this year, but hard to do when you don't see the field. Hopefully he gets it and goes out and earns it. Working with Kenny Moore is a good start!
