With the speed the colts are getting on defense I think our defense like SF will be able to compete with a KC if we build up that pass rush.

5 top 10 picks on that line is not likely to happen with us if we want to keep Ballard and Reich lol

We need Brian Hoyer to start all games in 2020 :). We might get close to 2 Top 10 picks in a row.

I don’t think we need that many high picks. We can supplement in FA and Turay was looking great before he got injured. If Banogu keeps working hard with Mathis he can make that second year leap. I was mainly talking about our LB.

Just need players who can push and disrupt the pocket.  Don't necessarily need to be top 10 picks.  I think Ballard can find that.

What is Shanahan doing? It’s a little less dramatic but he’s doing the same thing he did in the Pats SB! How does this happen twice? I’m happy for Reid but just as puzzled at the 49ers abandoning the run.

Officials had no business calling it a TD. No way he could see. But no way could it be overturned

It was close.  Had they not called it a TD it wouldnt have been reviewed.   It was the correct call

Because I don’t like all the hype so early in his career while we sit in QB limbo.

Its not hype its real! The kid is the real deal and he's not a * so what's not to like

Not sure what SF was doing going into turtle mode after taking the 10 point lead, and the crowd is such a huge Chiefs lean.

Lol a team in the Superbowl for the first time in majority of everyone's lifetime. Or a team going for #6 haha

I know he is real but he isn’t on my team so why do I have to like him.

    • Yep, you know my opinion on QB and your QB in particular. I think he's the precise type that makes you lose tons of time trying to chase after unreachable target because he's at the same time too good to be cheap and too bad to give you competitive advantage in the playoffs. He needs a ton of things to be right for him to play really well and he takes a lot of capspace that in time will make you lose some of the talent elsewhere that makes him and/or the team look better. This is part of what seems to be happening now. You lose some talent(Diggs, Lindval Joseph, Griffen, Waynes, etc.)... IMO you should be targeting on of the top 3 QBs in the draft.   This draft it seems is actually pretty good up top QB-wise... 3 very good prospects, some others might emerge too. The WR class is pretty good too. If you keep Cousins he will need more weapons than Theilen. LB class is good...
    • I'd be surprised with the committment to the run if we spent much capital on a WR for the 3rd year in a row.  But if they think there is a stud out there, who knows.  Campbell I don't think is" injury prone" necessarily, last weeks hit was just unfortuneate and broken foot is also usually and accident rather than injury proneness whatever that means.  Assuming he's 100% next year, I think they'd be pretty comfortable with the playmaking potential of PC.     I could totally see them pick up a stud TE though with some captal.  I like MAC too and hope he takes away the neccesity of a TE.   But Houston is old too and we probably are really going to need another edge guy.
