Our secondary looks like crap when you can’t get a pass rush. This defense needs a lot of upgrades. Offense is pathetic.

You know what disappoints me the most is the coaches not having this team ready. The little effort they have played with tonight boils down to coaching.

jacoby 4 of 12 for 30 yards he is on fire tonight guys might hit 80 yards by the end of the game .

Holy crap...I just stumbled across Chloe’s Twitter (obvious by the twitter handle) and he/she is blaming absolutely everybody but JB. I’m only saying it because it’s kind of extreme the way she’s call

Andrew Luck enjoying retirement!

If Irsay is as serious about this team as he talks acts like, I think he’ll have to force his hand this offseason and make Ballard do some trading/signing, etc.

We cannot continue to rely on late round draft picks and hope they pan out.

I do agree with the first part but they have had two first rounders and seven second rounders in three years and have two more second rounders next year.  They are spending high draft capital.

Not a fan of having the most cap space 3 years in a row.

Sure we could save the money by cutting JB. but then what?

Ballard does not spend.

My thoughts too. Ballard will just stack picks and money and keep putting a trash team on the field year in and out.

Colts are done as an organization. Here comes a decade of trash.

This makes no sense.

like it or not, Hoyer and Kelly are worse than our chances with JB. They just are.

I don't believe it. My 16 y/o daughter could produce exactly this much offense and she weighs 85 pounds and knows nothing about football. IT IS TIME TO REMOVE JB. Hoyer at least has up and down games over his career. Kelly we have yet to see so nobody know crappy or good he can be. This franchise is falling into the Bengals level. We can't offense, we can't defense and our special teams is anything but special. Quite honestly, its starting to get to the point where the noise asking whether Reich is the right leader are going to start getting louder. The way they handled this Vinny issue and now a really poor QB in JB handling. Nah, its time to see anyone else besides JB at this time. Irsay is risking losing a portion of the fanbase who has hung around and was enthusiastic with Reich but staying the course when the plane is in a straight nose dive thinking the plane will automatically correct itself is bad.

You keep holding the faith little buddy, I commend you for it.

No pass rush- hard to assess secondary. Brees is  a surgeon. Makes all his throws. JB has missed wide open receivers. JB does not have the passing touch that Brees has.

Jacoby doesn’t have a lot of things Brees does...

I cant watch much more of JB

Yeah.  Tonight he is beyond bad.  I try to look at it objectively and point out his good points when he has them, but they are few and far between tonight.  Completely off the rails tonight.

Didn’t I say the offense looks like crap. Come on.

I’ve yet to hear you say JB though. I mean TY is pretty good right? But somehow with JB he might as well be in the sidelines.

Say it, the majority of the issue is JB. You know how hard it is to defend Brees? Now add absolutely no production on O and you get the D you see tonight

The defense was awful before they got tired.  She’s right EVERYONE has been pathetic tonight.

    • Relax....i was paraphrasing a Bill Tobin quote . Tobin went off on Kiper when the Colts drafted Trev Alberta instead of Trent Dilfer.
    • @Superman   @w87r   So, among many things, I get e-mail from Sports Illustrated every day.   And the other day,  there was this article written by Andew Brandt, who used to handle the contracts and salary cap issues for the Packers for 10 years.    And one thing he wrote jumped off the page at me.     Now, here's why I remind our two resident Salary Cap experts I noted above about something they have both talked about,  but I haven't seen either of them talk about this year.   Roll Over.   According to Brandt,  the Colts have the MOST SALARY CAP ROLLOVER in the NFL.   $30 MIl.    So, whatever the general 2021 team salary cap turns out to be,  you can add $30 Mill for the Colts.     I'm going to do two things.     I'm going to link the entire article for everyone.    It's free, non-premium,   and I'm also going to cut and paste the key section for everyone to read right here.      OK....    here's the article...      And just for discussion purposes,  Brandt uses a projected salary cap of $185.   He's NOT saying that's what the final number will be,  only his own hypothetical number for his article.   https://www.si.com/nfl/2021/03/02/business-of-football-understanding-the-salary-cap-dead-money?suid=5cc1cc3a3f92a475c0234f43&utm_source=Sailthru&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=SI Extra 030221&utm_term=SI Extra - USE THIS - List     Here is the key text:   Myth: Every NFL team’s cap number is going to be $185 million   No. Actually, no team’s cap number is going to be $185 million (or whatever the final cap number is). The 2011 CBA, for the first time, allowed teams to carry over unused cap room from one year to the next. In managing the cap for the Packers, we did not have that option; it was use it or lose it. I had to negotiate * incentives—such as a clause giving our third-string quarterback $20 million if he threw seven touchdowns in our last game—to carry over cap room. (When he didn’t earn the incentive, we would get it as a credit toward the next year.) Now teams don’t have to play those games. As per NFLPA numbers, every team in the league has carried over 2020 cap room, from a low of roughly $500,000 for the Ravens to a high of more than $30 million for the Colts. Teams carrying over $20-plus million of cap include the Jets, Browns, Eagles, Cowboys and Jaguars. Thus, although the team cap is $185 million, the Colts’ adjusted cap will be around $215 million, and so on. And again, these teams have been preparing, or should have been preparing, for this reduced cap for months.   What say you both, Superman and w87r?     What do you think of what Brandt has written?    Does everyone have to re-do their off-season mocks reflecting a team figure of $215?     I look forward to hearing from both of you and others!
    • Jets take Zach Wilson  dolphins up
    • I have to agree. His draft order is not always spot on but his ability to evaluate talent is always in the ballpark as to what GMs agree on.  As it turned out Tobin's rant ended up being pretty lame after Trev Alberts ended up being one of the Colts all time bust. Not only was Alberts a bust, so was Tobin.
