Campbell has no injury history at OSU. I think he might of had a concussion but that was it

TY dedicates his season to luck then goes down with a calf. Weird stuff has happened to this team.

Hard to get injured when 95% of your routes are slants against barely practice squad level players in college. He's showing he cant hang with the NFLs physicality so far

Perhaps we should look into different physicians because I’m with you, we have t handled injuries well for a long while now. Not sure who that falls on, medical or CB saying play through it. Idk

I think beyond that. Remember when they kept saying Luck was going to play and ended up not playing for a year. Now this year players are going on IR becuase of injurys all of a sudden popped up. They should have rested them.

I totally agree. Campbell is made of glass. Colts already got Mack and Hooker lol. We don't need another glass sideline figurine for a football player.

Campbell is such a disappointment when you consider some of the other guys Ballard could have snagged in the draft instead last year.

I would be fine with Ballard staying away from drafting OSU guys for awhile.... (hooker, Lewis, Campbell, etc)

Maybe stop drafting Ohio State players. They all seem to end up hurt. Campbell, Lewis, Mewhort, AGon...I am sure there are more.

Edit: Forgot about Hooker as well.

We do seem to have some bad injury luck with these kids.

If we had a good QB, we are likely in the playoffs already. It is not the lnjuries that have derailed us.

I can pretty much agree with this. I’d even add into the mixture of poor performances on the play calling schemes. We aren’t scheming people open like so many other teams do against us. That’s disheartening really.

It’s been one of those seasons where everything has gone wrong. You just have to laugh and throw your hands up.

this happens every year. choir boys with soft bones. we are past the laughing and throwing up hands. Break out the pitchforks and torches and run them out of town!:hissy:

what the organization needs to do is stop making training camp family friendly and bust theses guys *ses and toughen them up. If you cant handle the work, you dont make the 53. no rest days. you can't go, you get cut. In the end, you either have one tough team that knows what is expected of them or no team with no false expectations.

Unfortunately the team can’t do that due to the players union. Campbell pulled his hammy in early training camp and missed most of it. Then he had an abdominal injury, broken hand, broken foot season over. I am starting to see a trend. Lol

    • “Blackmon better than Hooker.”   “The exact same injury.”   ”picked off bad quarterbacks for a while.”   Wow!   Wow!   And wow!   After a few days away you’re back with a bang!    Those are eye popping and jaw dropping viewpoints.         Just my opinion.
    • Looks like close game nearing halftime.   They have a chance.
    • He's just gotta let it roll off his shoulders.
    • I agree. The defense needs a change in coaching before investing big over the offense. The offense is on the right track under Steichen, especially if AR pops off this year and shows growth/ability to stay healthy. I really like Barton, especially with his versatility and ability to play immediately, imo. I also think we can get him by trading back and acquiring another day 2 pick, which would make it easier to double on offense. However, if Bowers is there, I would be perfectly fine seeing us take him at 15, and still taking a receiver at 46. That could really do wonders for the depth of pass catchers for this offense, and give Steichen a lot of flexibility to do things, depending on what the receiver looked like. If not Bowers, then a solid receiver paired with a runningback later in the draft that is a strong pass catcher and can even split out would be nice. Just give Steichen options with explosive players, and more depth on the o-line for AR's protection. That's what I ultimately hope for.
    • It's gotta be frustrating for him as a recovering addict, that as soon as anything happens to him or people think he is acting different. Everyone assumes he's fallen off the wagon, I would say don't fall for the sensationalism.
