Lawrence will go #1. We have too good of a team to be the worst team in football. Tanking isn't happening for Lawrence. We just sucked period in 2011 without Manning so we got Luck.

We could start Kelly next year to insure the #1 pick.

3.......2........1...... to complete forum meltdown.

Run for your  lives!

This would be the best case scenario. We lose by 2 and are competitive while helping our draft position.

Problem w.ith that JC is that if we score 28 points they will blame it on the D and jb will QB next year :dunno:

True. Probably better if we get blown out.

Nah, at this point JB and the offense could put up 38 points and he could throw for 4 TD's, 300 Yards, no INT's and do an Elway helicopter move but most in here would blame him if we lose 41-38. Just the way it is. Also if our offense puts up 28 hypothetically like you said, why should JB get blamed if we lose? Unless he just throws a pick 6 to lose the game.

We will play tough. I want to see TY play and make some plays also. I think this will be our last night game till the 2022 season though. Go Colts, make it close!!

I want to see an onside kick recovered to start the second half for the Colts! Also, it’s time to unleash the fake punt, we haven’t seen one in awhile. TY will go for 175 yards is my Big Audacious Goal.

The fake punt has been there many times during this season.  I don't know if it will be against the Saints special teams.  Let's hope it is and they finally do it.

Get ready...improbable upset coming.

That would be so Colts to win this game after the year we've had.  I just want to see a Rock-Ya-Sin INT for a TD!

Prediction:

In the 2nd Quarter Drew Brees will toss his 3rd TD. The game will stop, hugs will happen; then we'll see a video from Peyton Manning.. and then we'll just continue to cry throughout the rest of this game

You never know.

I think it is more likely that the Colts get embarrassed on national TV.

Our playoff hopes are so slim, I'm not sure if I want us to win or not.

Of course when I'm watching the game I'll be rotting for the Colts all game.   But if it ends with a loss, I won't be too disappointed.

I hear you.  The Colts usually play to their opponents level. That’s both a good and a bad thing.  This week...it’s a good thing.  It means almost nothing...but they will find a way.

"Rotting?" Is that a typo or were you referring to the Colts' passing attack?

Considering Brees needs 3 passing TDs to pass Peyton...at home against Peyton's former team...I think we can at least assume they score 21.

I also predict both Archie and Peyton are there.

looks like a blow out. Team is over matched. Brees is carving us up like a Thanksgiving turkey. Colts struggling to run ball. JB hitting some longer throws but missing some wide open guys.

    • To me being a boom or bust is kind of a plus for a QB, because the worst you can be is mediocre once that rookie contract comes to an end. I would prefer for whoever we draft to be either great or horrible and for us to know relatively quickly so we can either invest in him or move on quickly. This is part of the appeal with Love for me. The things he needs to improve are heavily coaching based and I think we will have a good idea of where on the spectrum he will end up pretty quickly. For example - if you draft him and he's not ready to start by year 2, this is a red flag and you might start looking for another one. If 2 off-seasons and 1 in-season period are not enough for your coaching staff to get him ready you either have made a mistake with the draft pick or with your coaching staff and I do have good trust in the coaching staff so...
    • For me the tiers are more important the the specific ranking... I rank players within a tier very similarly and even though I would have preferences within them, I don't feel strongly enough to argue one over the other.    Tier 1(sell the farm for him - i.e. multiple 1sts, multiple day 2 picks, etc) Burrow   Tier 2 (trade a significant asset for him - i.e. a future 1st round pick) Tua(if I have medical guarantees he'd be alright health-wise)   Tier 3 (trade a medium level asset for him(i.e. a second, a third...) or take him at #13) Love Herbert Tua(if our medical staff cannot give you any guarantees whatsoever either way -for example, there were some reports that it might be too early before the draft to tell whether he will be good or not)   Tier 4 (second round) Eason Fromm     Tier 5 (third-fourth round) Gordon(have to do more work on him, might change his ranking) Hurts   Tier 6 (round 5-7) Tua(if the medicals come bad and there is high risk of reinjury/retirement/not full recovery/etc.) Tyler Huntley Nate Stanley     I'm still watching some QBs so that's not my final ranking.
    • Hey....    we’ve all had those whoops moments.    Comes with the territory.    I’ve had some whoppers!
    • Also, you need a smart GM and HC once you get the #1 pick and surround your price possession with an excellent supporting cast.  Otherwise, early retirement...
