Our defense keeps starting games very hot.

Wow!  Prognosticator now, Chloe?  Odom with the strip.  Colts ball again!

Just say you'll hate anything he does.

50 yards isn't 50 feet fyi. It's not that easy.

Was anything I said wrong?

I have no agenda.

Don't we all have the same agenda of wanting what is best for this team?  We just disagree on what best serves that agenda.

Anyone notice if Quincy is out there? All these young guys, I have a hard time remembering numbers.

Would be nice to have an easy win. Been a while since we've had one.

Let's go O.

JB could throw a 99 yard TD pass and there would still be a few on here bashing the dude saying he was lucky or the pass was bad. It has been so comical for weeks now that I am used to reading the stuff.

If it wasn’t his first really nice passing TD in 12 weeks, he would have support. That throw still wasn’t perfect for as wide open as he initially was. He was late on the throw and a better CB would have either knocked it down. Now he throws into triple coverage. He is t good no matter how much you want him to be so.

Lol Jacoby seems very confident today. Launching bombs.

Milligan is playing in Moore’s spot.

You can throw a bad pass and have it end up in a 99-yard TD.......if the defense whiffs on the coverage.  Just because it ended up in a TD doesn't mean that it was a good throw.

With that said, I am listening on the radio and not watching so I can't see whether it was a good throw or not.  I'm happy with the result, though.

We agree on that, but there are some that only want to point out the good without mentioning the negative.  Likewise, there are those that only look at the negative without mentioning the positive.

That series right there impressed me more than the TD.  They took a deep shot on 1st down that failed, and it didn't kill the drive.  They were still able to pick up the 1st down.

It was a little under thrown but it wasn't a bad pass, it had no chance of being picked off anyway.

Totally wasted opportunity!

Those deep shots should open up the run game.

It’s like first or second in the league.

Yeah. Some thought it was only because of just how bad their pass D is, that teams only attack them through the air, but they’re legit.

Another good drive. Nice to see the new kicker get a FG.  Let's keep it going !!

One would hope.  We do seem to be looking deep early.  Maybe we can actually hit on another.

No chance of being picked off doesn't necessarily indicate a good pass.  It could just mean that the defense whiffed on the coverage.

    • https://post.futurimedia.com/wgfx/playlist/23/listen-7982.html?cb=1582747112.828300   I won't transcribe everything like in other threads but will write some of the highlights here: -talked a bit about RBs and some WRs to begin with... he likes Swift best from the RBs... likens him to Cook and Kamara. Loves both Ruggs(fast, explosive, nuanced route running) and Reagor(nuanced route running, explosive, played boundary X, can be slot, can be Z... impressive). Cam Akers - best vision in the class of RBs, not explosive, good feel and understanding of defensive fronts.  - Chase Young - high level athleticism, very high level physical traits - Javon Kinlaw - all the attributes are there on tape - size, length, quickness and movement, yet he was not a consistently dominant inside player. He's got complete skillset to be 1 gap player or 2 gap player. He's not Aaron Donald, bu can he be like Chris Jones type of player?  - Derrick Brown - more consistent than Kinlaw, really good traits, but the thing he probably does least is rush the QB and how valuable is that in today's NFL? If you are not going to be a huge factor in a sub front, then are you truly a top 5 pick in an NFL draft? Can line up in multiple spots... probably will be best if you had a legitimate pass-rusher type next to him, though...  - He thinks Jeffery Simmons from last year's draft is better prospect than both Kinlaw and Brown.  - Isaiah Simmons - he thinks he will be better as a safety than LB in base defense. Tremendous athlete... it's obvious. At his best as a space and movement player. Will play multiple spots in sub defense.  - Jeffrey Okudah - best CB in this draft... can do everything... so much fun to watch... both smooth and explosive at the same time. Can play press man... mirroring.  - Trevon Diggs - he loves him, long, athletic, physical, fluid, competitive, great on ball production. Not quite Okudah level, but really really good.  - Grant Delpit - long and tall, athletic... versatile, lines up in multiple positions... lined up against TEs and even WRs... the traits are there - Xavier McKinney - multidimensional player - similar to Chauncey Gardner Johnson  - not good/deep draft for edge rushers after Chase Young...  - loves K'Lavon Chaisson - he will go top 15-20, young now, might take time to develop...  - Terrell Lewis - fascinating player, only 26 games in 4 years because of injuries. Interesting body type - high cut, long legged, doesn't have the build you normally associate with an edge player, because that build doesn't lend itself to great bend and lean... but he has shown excellent pass-rush ability and some moves(great inside spin move)...    Biggest takeaways concerning players Colts might want to draft - Brown(and to some degree Kinlaw) might be a bit overrated according to him.
    • There is no reason for team sources to lie to reps from Walter Football, especially since they know Walter football will not reveal their sources.
    • How is either of those a band aid if they spend a year mentoring a rookie QB?     I believe "bridge" to be more analogous in your hypothetical scenario.
    • My point wasn't to say JB is a great QB.  My point was to say, until we see Kelly do it consistently in the NFL, we have no idea that he's an improvement to JB -- to say he's 'far better' at doing things at the NFL level is an impossible statement to make, as we've never seen him in a live regular season game.
    • Only Indicator there is their respective college resumes.... And while neither was jump off the page amazing, Kelly did get the ball down field and to playmakers more often than Brissett.  Kelly has done it more recently as well.     JB is ok, but that's it.  And most of the time he's not even that.  He's not going to develop the areas he struggles in much more, if any, than they're at now.  He's been exposed to excellent coaching since his first day in the league.... He's been mentored by the likes of Bill Parcells, Bill Belechick, that OC in New England, Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, and Frank Reich for the last four plus years.     He is what he is.... And no, the first half of the season he was nothing more than average.
