I wouldn't put Rivers, Ryan or Stafford in the HOF.  None of them has been a top 3 QB in the league any season.

Ryan 2nd fastest ever to 50,000 yards passing, only behind Brees. Currently 10th All-Time.

Rivers 6th All-Time

You’re entitled to your opinion, but I’m sure their both locks for Canton.

Alright guys I'm here to calm everyone down. I have an exclusive source with close ties to the organization. I'm not suppose to really say this but I believe the fan base should know.

Right now, the mindset is sticking with JB. His contract will be up in 2021. If there isn't anyone Ballard particularly like in the upcoming draft,(most likely in the first two rounds) we will stick with JB. Also, Mr. Irsay will call Luck over the offseason to see where he at in life. *wink wink*

There is also rumbling that if Ballard/Reich believe this team can be in the WIN NOW mode, Cam Newton have come up as the guy they are looking at. Bear in mind, If we add dynamic pieces in free agency, Newton will be the most likely outcome. Take it with a grain of salt as you will. You heard it here.

Peace out,

James Harden

Hi James,  Thanks for the intel.  Greatly appreciated.  Everything you report makes a lot of sense. First check on Andrew to see if he as a change of heart then check out the college QB's if he's staying put.  While you are evaluating the college guys check in with Carolina because deep down they know we can win now with the right veteran at the helm and the former MVP would fit the bill behind our OL.  If Cam is available I can see them pulling the trigger and adding a few major weapons in FA to help him out.  Props to you James.  I feel better knowing they do have a plan.

Probably since it is the hall of pretty good.

I always like to judge by comparing to player!s of the same time.  Rivers nor Ryan was ever thought of as a top 3 Q B in the league.

    • I think teams are going to give up the run and force offence to march down the field on a 10 play drive and score. They are going to take away the big play and make Richardson throw intermediate and short passes. The defense believes that he will throw up a pick and/or the offense will stall.  Although,  I dislike the cover 2 defense, it is perfect against a guy like Richardson. The Colts have not shown that they can put long drives together. It is early and it is up to Richardson to make teams attack more. If they continue to run with success and Richardson makes those easy plays.  Then it is a different ball game and it opens up everything. Quite simple actually, lol.  If Taylor is pounding the rock against 4 man fronts because Richardson has improved his accuracy.  Then the D will have to pick their poison. Do you play up to stop the run, short and intermediate passes? Or do they play back to stop the big play? Richardson's evolution, if it happens, will stress the defense probably like no other qb because of his skill set.
    • I think the way people have been talking about him, it makes it seem like he's incapable of making those throws at all. There's a lot of sensationalism about his throwing right now.
    • I think the most surprising thing about this list for me is that Addai isn’t any higher than he is.
    • Lol. Sure, I meant he ALWAYS makes those mistakes. I think you’re smart enough to know that I meant he’s made those mistakes enough that it’s kind of alarming to me. If you’re not alarmed, cool.
    • They do need an offensive mind, though. I said from the moment he was hired there that it was a move that was dead on arrival. Pairing a QB like Fields (and now Willams,) with a guy like Flus wasn’t productive for either side. Both of those QBs would benefit far more from having an offensive guy at the helm than a defensive one. A defensive coach needs to have a strong offensive staff in place to help those young QBs and Flus did not.    Fields is the perfect case in point: he landed in Pittsburgh with a defensive minded head coach who had a strong enough offensive support system to benefit him, and his career is starting to turn around for it.    Think of our own history, did the pairing of Andrew Luck with a defensive guy like Pagano do him any favors? Not really, and in the end it’s probably a big part of the reason that story turned out the way it did.
