Still don't  trust vinny. Waiting to see how our rbs respond to mack injury

Mack's injury will have an impact. No doubt.

And if I'm being honest.. I was a bit nervous for Adam, but he was picture perfect today.

At least give him that. Can you?

Lol.  Reading through this thread.   Many of you didn't give us a snowball's chance in Hell of winning.  And most were basing that on Vinny.   So happy he proved y'all wrong!

Smh... He was picture perfect today and some of you still say,    but...but...but..   You know what.. there were several missed kicks across the NFL today.  But, he was perfect.

No TY and no DF back. Jags win 30-10.

Me too (for this week at least) but quite honestly the way he has been playing this season no one should feel too bad about doubting him.  He still needs to continue to make his kicks.  He has been very inconsistent week to week.  Very hit or miss even on extra points.  Burden of proof is on Vinny to win back any doubters.  Each week is an adventure with him the rest of the way.

And you can't even give him kudos for that.

I have been concerned too, but I still had faith that he was our best option.

I'm glad he had a good day and hope it continues for the remainder of the season so he can retire on a good note.

Good post.

There have been problems with the kickers for quite a few teams this seasons, not just Vinny.

    • I like your thinking in surrounding Wentz with more talent. That needs to happen.  I would do a few things differently: 1. If you sign Davis (or a Will Fuller, who is another good option), TY is now expendable. Time to say goodbye. Saves a ton in cap room too. 2. I sign Houston. The Colts need more help on the D-line, and Houston was their best DE. I keep him and let Autry walk.  3. I keep Joey Hunt. He's a good plug and play backup at C/G, and he won't cost much. Along with Pinter, the Colts have those two backup slots covered cheaply and effectively.   I'm in total agreement on Rhodes. A must keep.    Don't know what to think about the return on the Doyle trade. Right now, Banogu has minimal value as a borderline bust; Doyle is a solid if unspectacular TE 1, who has genuine value. Together, I'd think you could do better, but who knows? Given the lack of return, I think the Colts hold onto Banogu to see if they get lucky. Doyle would bring that 4th round pick all by himself, IMO.    I really like your first four picks in the draft. Jenkins is a fast riser, and will likely be gone by early in the 2nd round. He's not my first choice, but that's nit picking. If you want him and he's there at 29, you grab him. With Doyle gone, and an upgrade being needed anyway, getting the second best TE in the draft is a solid move.    Nice job. Thanks for the hard work.
    • If the Patriots take a QB in the draft, I could see Brissett playing the same role Tyrod Taylor played in Cleveland and for the Chargers
    • Ok.  Watson and Murray rated high, but the teams' draft prowess are polar opposite.  Something seems to be missing.
    • Tampa Bay stood out to me.  They are second with no apparent stars that I can recall.  Brady, Gronk, and Suh were FAs.   I thought Murray is the classic case of a team riding the trendy hype wave of athleticism in a Qb, when being able to extend a play by running sideways is only a small part of playing the position.
