Rivers is a nice upgrade. JB isn't a franchise QB or even good IMO - already said that. He is average though, we could've been 10-6 last year actually with a few minor breaks. Had JB not got injured we may of very well started 7-2. We had Houston on the ropes in the 2nd game, had TY been 100% we win that game IMO and the division. Problem with most people is they are comparing JB to Peyton and Luck, wrong way of thinking folks. JB got thrown into a fire and will never be those guys.
Here's my thoughts... I don't know how much you can consider some of those surprising/unexpected, but I will include here positions/players that I don't see many mock drafts containing:
1. IMO CB is a real option in R2 and thus the players that make sense here are the ones with long arms - Trevon Diggs, Bryce Hall, Jeff Gladney
2. The low key day 2 toolsy/explosive/athletic EDGE. Ballard has taken 4 in his 3 drafts(Basham, Turay, Lewis, Banogu). He's taken at least one EDGE player every single year on day 2. Players that I think fit the criteria here are: Terrell Lewis(2), Yetur Gross-Matos(2), Julian Okwara(2), Josh Uche(2-3), Jabari Zuniga(3), Alex Highsmith(3)...
3. Flyer on James Morgan from FIU on day 3.
People that say Brissett sucks act like 10 yr olds. You clowns don't know the difference between sucks and average. Until you do quit posting. Brissett isn't good or a franchise QB but a great backup and an average NFL starter. The end.
The Brissett bashing is getting so old that it is stupid. Lucky I am not a Mod, I would wipe out the bashing posts.
