That throw Hoyer just made is a throw Brissett probably would not have even seen.

hoyer comes in if brissett is hurt seriously

Or if they need some time to assess him...

Looks like they said ankle. Should’ve been a flag. Hayward literally shoves Nelson backwards using the face mask. That’s normally a flag but it’s Pitt.

Was that hands to the face against Nelson on the play JB got hurt on?  Just saw his head snap back while looking at him step on JB's ankle, lol.

Hoyer already looks like he's better at going through progressions. Obviously there is now no threat of a deep pass, but we haven't really been able to connect on those despite JB having a strong arm

Looked like Brissett's ankle got stepped on and then rolled on, possibly the knee on the second one. Hopefully it's just a sprain.

It did look a bit enthusiastic on replay.

From Dr. Chao - "Left lead leg was landed on by own offensive lineman. Only one view. No definitive replay but worry for MCL sprain. Depending on severity, could return with a brace."

Maybe we can finally execute a screen pass??

I'm serious.  He sees things developing late a lot of times.

On the Brissett injury, did that defender have ahold of Nelson facemask and pushing it straight up?

Sure did. Looks like Nelson was playing it up as he threw his arms up.

I love this team.

Our QB goes down and they respond with a TD.   Go team!
