Wilson is about to be traded. With Desir out he would not be a healthy scratch. Rock and Moore as the corners. I was hoping to see Kenny blitzing more.

Maybe Parris gets more snaps with Cain inactive.

Someone check to see if Agholor or Parker are inactive.

If Wilson was being traded they would put him out there today to try and have a decent game against a pretty lame Broncos offense.

More likely that he’s just a healthy scratch again for his second coaching staff in a row.

Or the trade might already be in place and they don't want to risk him being injured.

Could Cain also be on the trade block with pascal playing so well.

Cain is worth an almost expired coupon at this point

Not really. They could have calls about him already and don’t want to risk injury.

Cain situation is a bit more interesting but I guess they feel good about Campbell

My guess is the trade for Wilson might be done. With Desir out there is no way they would sit him. Hopefully Denver doesn’t all of a sudden get a good passing offense going with Desir out.

With funchess coming back it won’t surprise me if Cain is on the trade block.

Doubtful. One, he’s not done anything worthy of a trade of any value. At this point, you keep him as depth in case.  Release/Cut him next off season.

Same thing with Lewis.

I think it might be as well.  I hope it's for a player or he's part of a trade for a player who can help us and not just another pick.

Agholor and Beasley are not on today's inactive list. I am not sure which Parker you meant or I would check.

I don't think we are trading for a WR. I think we are trading Wilson and a pick for a D-Lineman.

Ryan Kerrigan, Atkins, and Williams are the three that come to mind.

Regardless, I think a deal is already in place. We are likely waiting until after the game today to finalize things.

I wouldn't trade Cain.  He's on the rise, IMO, coming back from a knee injury.  This is only his second year?  Maybe expectations have gotten cemented in stone for some where now his performance seems underwhelming.

I think he's about where a 5th round pick coming off of a knee probably should be.

OTOH, Wilson has been around long enough that it wouldn't surprise me if he was traded.

So it’s already in place and they said “Nah let’s not do it now and get it done, let’s wait until some day next week”?

If they have a trade in place for him they’d make it. No reason to wait.

This also could just mean they like Milligan and Taylor in the slot. With Desir out KM will be playing outside more.

None of them are inactive today. In case anyone was wondering.

As far as Lewis he said he might not play. He wasn’t quite 100%.

Has he ever been 100% ?

When I called out Quincy Wilson for being a bust, the forum roasted me. Evidently, Ballard agrees with my take.

It’s good Desir is getting a rest. That hamstring wasn’t going to get better and this is a team I think is a good one to rest it. Hopefully Flacco doesn’t all of a sudden become a pro bowler.

    • Good regular season all over because of playoff melt downs lead by Alex Smith and Andy Reid. Adversity to overcome last year playoff lost, prove that last year isn’t a fluke . And Cam MVP season was well after his first 2 seasons. His MVP year isn’t better than Mahomes MVP year. I’ll say it again Mahomes first 2 seasons > any other QB.
    • Well this debunks the conspiracies about a packers and chief Super Bowl just “because” they both played in the first Super Bowl and it being the 100th year... you know.. If you’re into that stuff
    • Game over SF to the Big Dance.  Time to go back to the drawing board for the Packs.
    • 125 yards is still bad and not all the runs were outside. Not to mention Gordon didn't even play.
    • Pretty much, except players for a team in a state income tax collection, must also pay their home state income tax earned while playing in states that do not have state income tax.  Players for no income tax states pay no taxes on 1/2 their (home) games, nor endorsements. They then pay non-resident income tax to states their team plays road games.      I have heard they were typically less, but not for every state (from what I was told).   There is supposedly a new law that will affect taxed players too, because individuals can no longer deduct more than $10,000 for state and local taxes (SALT) or declare miscellaneous itemized deductions for work-related expenses and investment fees on Federal returns. And these tax law changes, especially the latter, will cost pro athletes more than most people.   Can you imagine California? 37% Federal and 13% state? that's 1/2 your salary right there!!
