They should get rid of Elway while they are getting rid of people

He doesn't like trading away picks.   You get your hopes up every year,   and are confused when nothing happens.    If you listen to him it's clear.

Denver's offense is just bad. Flacco is a shell of himself. After playing teams like the Chiefs (Mahomes) and Texans (Watson) and even the Raiders (Carr), our defense has to be salivating at this game. I do not want to jinx it and say we will win fairly easily but that is a good possibility if we just play our normal game.

I think the Colts win, but winning easily isn't something this team has shown.   Nearly every game is close.

they play a lot more zone now which is why they suck lol you had Von Miller/Chubb but you don’t attack you sit and wait Fangio ruined the broncos D they should play press man and let Miller eat  just like we’ve started doing

Kevin Bowen said on the radio this morning he thinks we see Brian hoyer in the 4th quarter. I hope he didn’t jinx us. Besides the KC game they haven’t allowed many points.

I don't think we'll see Hoyer Sunday, but definitely when we play the Dolphins we should.

This game is going to be harder then we think. 4 of Denver’s 7 games have been decided by one score. Unless they totally fall apart with the trade rumors or Harris gets traded by Friday this is going to be a hard game and is not a given. They average giving up only 19  If we lose this game that Texans game means nothing. Also titans and jags will probably get back to 4-4 after their games. I think i read something the broncos have been pretty good at creating turnovers.

Earlier in this very same thread you suggested we could get close to the 9 sacks KC put on Denver. You also opined they could turnover the ball a lot. How bad will we need to be to make this a hard game, based on those previous comments?

We could get that many sacks and create turnovers. We win easily if we do. I also think though could go the other way and be a tight game if they get the run game going and don’t have to pass much.

Harder than some people think. I've been saying most of our games will be close and this game is no different. We're not good enough to count any game as an easy win, except (hopefully) the Dolphins game.

The only good thing is the broncos have lost pretty bad to the top teams like KC and GB. Their two wins and the rest of their losses were not against great teams. We just need to play hard and do what we do and I think we will be fine.

So you think we could win easily or it could be a close game. My prediction is you will be proven right!

Only player ruled out Sunday is Carl Lewis. Reich said Campbell will probably play. He also said all the safeties will rotate with them all healthy.

Sheesh. I was hoping for one of those Gold Medals.

Sure you're not talking Carl Davis?

I know I'm going to be slammed for saying it, but this is still a pretty young team.

TRAAAAAAPP GAAAAAME!!!

Young teams sometimes overlook bad opponents and this could be the case this coming Sunday.  Hope Reich & company keep the 1-0 mantra pinned to the bulletin board.

No I won’t slam you. Denver although the record won’t show is statistically the better team.

So is he important? He isn’t a starter?

He might be the #2 FS, but he's in the game 60+% of the time. Very heavy in the rotation. Simmons, their #1 FS hasn't missed a defensive play this year. Parks is basically the 4th DB based on snap counts and depending on scheme/game plan.

in all seriousness, this could be a tough game.  It's not like Denver has been blown out in any games except the KC game.  Their offense is not good (27 in AER) but their defense is tough (#4 AER).  They still have Von Miller and a FS that is playing as well any any FS in the NFL.

The Colts are going to have to bring their A game to come away with a win.

Exactly anyone who thinks this will be an easy win needs to go back and watch the Raiders game again.

If Pagano was still the coach this would absolutely be considered a trap game. Reich will have his guys ready. No doubt.

Just like he had them ready for the Raiders right?  I like Reich as much as the next guy but he’s not perfect, no coach is.

Excellent point, and I think this game tells us a lot about this team (including the coach) learning and growing from past mistakes. For a young team being the underdog is an easy role to play. Being the targeted is not so easy.

It does seem to be deja vu.  But this years situation is different than last years.  This time last year we were 1-5.  Now we are 4-2 and could have been 5-1 if Vinatieri was his old self.  Different circumstances.   Ballard's past suggests he stands pat though.  Should be an interesting week coming up to see if he really does let the deadline walk on by.

Should be unbeaten those two losses were bad but no matter what we cant afford to lose to the broncos that would be our most embarrassing loss of the year to date if that happens cause broncos are horrible.

Joe Flacco stinks

Colts         27

Broncos    0

Yes he does but almost always plays well against us.

Baltimore will have a tough choice one day. To either put a statue of Flacco in front of their stadium or to just let him stand there in front of it.

Obviously I think the key is to putting pressure on Flacco. Give him a pocket and he can be good. If we pressure him  all day we should win easily.
