Teddy is  16 wins and 5 losses his last 21 starts...

5 - 0 for New Orleans taking over for the injured Drew Brees. ( 6 - 1 overall )  Impressive.

What are some possible teams? Last year, I wanted him to sign with an AFC team, like the Steelers. He would have been starting for them and probably winning more games. We (Vikings fans) hope the Bears don't sign him.

Teddy is a game manager but he wins. Wins is what matters. JMO

Teddy, Foles and Brissett are showing the NFL why paying extra for one of the best backups out there might be a smart investment.

I have to think a contender for his services might just be your division rival Bears.  Teddy if he's smart is going to want to go to a good team that just needs better quarterbacking.  Likewise teams that want to sign him as a medium or long term answer should make sure that they have a decent team in which a game manager QB could find success.

Bears are probably the best team in the league right now that's being held back by it's quarterback and would find improvement out of Bridgewater.

Most of the other teams that need QB's right now are also not very good outside of the QB.

And what do the Bears do with that $96,000,000 contract of Trubisky’s, through 2022?

Mitchell is still on his rookie contract.  If he plays poorly the rest of the year, he can become a QB2 next year (2020) at a cost of $9,237,593.  2021 brings up the choice of picking up his 5th year option, negotiating a contract commiserate to the circumstances at that point, or letting him become a free agent (UFA).

But Trubisky still has the rest of the season to get back on track, which would reduce the Teddy to the Bears projections.

The Saints are going to mess this up, which I can’t wait fer. Payton and Brees have been in love with each other for years and Brees homers are as blind as Brady homers. He hasn’t been able to throw the ball more than 30 yards for years and he’s survived similar to Brady because of the era we’re in. Yet there’s no way they don’t put Brees back on ASAP.

Yup, didn’t notice on sportrac that it was defaulting to “market value.”

Thanks for correcting.
