Nix and Penix is like splitting hairs. Penix ran a pro-style offense at Washington and passed a lot and beat Nix twice. Nix is good though. Maybe they should take Spencer Rattler -

I disagree. Bo Nix is a perfect scheme fit for Sean Payton. Sean Payton uses the West Coast Offense which Nix excels at. Penix is a deep ball thrower like Russell Wilson was and he doesn't fit Sean Payton at all. Nix is a dink and dunker that Sean Payton likes. -
In some simulators I've ran, Bowers is taken before #15, but Odunze is available for us. While I highly doubt this will happen, the situations that unfolded in the simulations did seem highly possible. Crazier things have happened. Having 4 pass catchers taken in the first 14 picks would be unusual. Is this year viewed like 2004? I also wonder if the amazing depth of the WR position in this draft will push some WRs down. The top 3 guys are likely immune to that, but you never know. You can draft an immediate impact WR in rounds 2-4 this year. -

Marvin but it will never happen. We will probably trade back even. It has nothing to do with his father playing here either, it is about getting the best player in the draft. His father playing here is just the neat part. -

FWIW: sometimes when a player like Blackmon gets a one year deal it’s the players call as much if not more than the front office. The player believes in themselves and are wanting a one year deal so they can go back into free agency sooner. They view a multiyear deal as below market value. Blackmon’s deal has a base plus incentives. It’s not an insult.
