Chiefs predictions

There is a picture of TY with the ball running from today’s practice . Hopefully he didn’t aggravate it or anything and will be able to go.

So if we win the coin toss do we defer to second half. I think it’s important if we can not to let KC score first.  KC has been bad in the first quarter.

Who predicted the Browns/Ravens final score? No one. But I have NFL Ticket so I can watch other less painful games if forced to do so.

Colts play Sunday night, so it'll be the only football game on.

I wish it was a 1pm game... Hate that the Colts are going to get dismantled on prime time TV in front of the whole nation. Lol.

Me too.

I think the Chiefs will be wanting to redeem themselves from almost losing to the Lions last week.   No better way than on national TV.

We are 0-5 when TY misses games in this era. Pretty telling stat.

Yea it means we rely too much on ty. That's  why I hoped Campbell  or cain would play like all stars.

I'm a little surprised at how small a percentage thinks it COULD be close. You guys know its never black and white. What IF our offense (with T.Y) comes out playing like the ATL game? It COULD be close. I think (hope... it's possible) we'll go down swinging. I could see a 38-31 game with Maniac and T.Y going.

We let Matt Ryan and Derek Carr go like 31/32 between the 2nd half of the Falcons game and first half of the Raiders game. 1 freaking incomplete pass in that many attempts is CRAZY. Mahomes is capable of doing that on his own plus more. Our defense is easy money for QB's. Our Offense gave the Raiders defense life and they had been really bad. This will be like the New England game last season

Hey guys. Chiefs fan here. Thanks for allowing me to post. Looking forward to a prime time game. Just wanted to say that I see a lot of crazy predictions of the Chiefs blowing the Colts out and scoring 50 points, etc. and I just wanted to say that this is highly unlikely, and I think the Colts will score lot of points. This will be a competitive, high scoring game, and I do think the Chiefs will win a close one. I do not see the Chiefs winning big. If they get up 10-14 points, they get VERY conservative. If you notice, the Chiefs margin of victory is always small due to Andy's conservative play with a lead. I also will admit our defense sucks and your QB is great! This will be a close game. Chiefs 34 Colts 30. Looking forward to a good, clean game!

I just realized how little Houston is mentioned (myself included). We brought him in to affect big games like these, right?! Need THREE sacks, Justin!:argh:

Colts lose. Brissett 2 tds+. Doyle has a good game but Pascal shows something too, resulting in his moving up the depth chart. Pass rush about the same as the last two weeks.

Don't  think it will be that close. Even if chiefs go conservative  a 35 to 17 type  game is likely.  Heck it was 31 to 13 last year.

Based on the injury report i need to revise and extend my projection.
I think they pull Mahomes for the 4th Q so 41-17. Go Colts!
Prayers no one gets hurt for us.

I predict there won't be snow this time.

Aside from that, I'd rather not put on "paper" what my gut tells me.  I'm hoping for a minor miracle on Sunday night.

I will feel alot better if it is close at halftime.

In all likelihood this is a Chiefs blowout win, but there is a small part of me that wants to believe (and for some reason does believe) the Colts can make a game of this and be in with a chance in the 4th quarter.

Again, most likely a horrible loss... but if the offense can put together long sustained running drives... we could make this interesting.

Blow out.  I think even if we had all the players in D it would still b a blow out.  People talk bout Mahommes and all his weapons.  The forgotten item is  Kansas Citys oline.  I don't see the Colts D line getting any pressure.  Will b a long day

That makes the night easier for you then. You can watch re-runs of Hogan Heroes or go to bed early since you already know we are going to blown out.

I am wonderful, I am just saying if you think we are going to lose by 3 TD's why watch? That is just common sense. I would rather watch a movie or go to bed. That is just me.

Not because YOU, say I can or cant

Oh I worry about me everyday, hey man you can watch us lose by 3 TD's all night if you want. No Biggy. I wasn't really trying to be a smart butt, but just wondering why anyone would want to watch a blow out if they think that is how it is going to go. You aren't the only one, most of this thread thinks we will get smoked, It is what it is.

I will watch because I’m a colts fan. Not because I think the game will be particularly close.

Our 2 starting safeties and starting WLB are out against arguably the best offense in the NFL. Even with the starting group, they would‘ve struggled mightily.

This game will be painful to watch. 35-13 Chiefs

I predict the Colts lose.... I hope not but that is what my gut is telling me... I will still watch because I like the Colts and for the chance of victory... if it gets too out of hand however I'll probably turn the channel

Almost had the trifecta of everyone losing in the division today. Figured we'd be battling Hou for the division.

Jax isn't beat yet, but it's pretty much done.

    • Wow....    how dumb can they get?   Conspiracy to obstruct justice for starters.   They text about it so there is a trail of evidence, and they take money out of a bank to make the payoffs, so the paper trail against the two is now even longer!   Someone is having a bad, bad day!   Their lawyers are going to be very busy!
    • By now, we should be smart enough to just go look at the numbers, the deaths, the active cases, the recovered and make up our mind. You should not be reliant on media reporting for just the numbers aspect of it, just my take on it. I can bring up the news network that you did not mention as well and poke holes in them as to what they do not provide coverage on as well but this is not the thread for it.   I go here and just look at the numbers every day and make up my mind based on all the categories:   https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/us/   As my posts suggest, if we are smart about it and plan it out well, I do not see a reason for no football.
    • its about the numbers, 22 players on the field isnt a lot but 70,000 in the stands is
    • The odds a vaccine are not high. I'm just going to say it (again) you're all being lied to at a incredible rate about this virus and the simplest answer, given that they're usually right, is that it's an election year.  The corporate media (comcast, disney ect) have an agenda and bias and the current admin doesn't share it. Why won't any of the ABC, NBC, CNN of the world report the death rate as opposed to saying "the death rate doesn't matter" and tabling the number? Why won't any of them talk about the border? Or what of New Mexico and their policy that's different from Arizona or Texas?  The virus spreading among people who aren't at severe risk is actually a good thing- sorry Tony Fauci (he needs fired for the lies, the spin, the just getting it wrong and then blaming people who notice this.. he sucks). That is if we'd like to get back to normal- which get's back to it's an election year. Now if you don't mind I'm going to check the Premier League standings, or any number of other leagues the world over that's not based out of a country with an election this year. The lies. The damned lies.
    • Yes, and that's exactly what they did! https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/ny-deandre-baker-quinton-dunbar-icloud-warrant-coverup-20200710-luc6jyesjjes5e3l56g4bpbnqm-story.html   Video evidence, Instagram DMs, testimony show payoff cover-up for DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar, further implicate NFL players in crime. The warrant allegedly shows witness Dominic Johnson oversaw the payoff of DeAndre Baker’s and Quinton Dunbar’s four alleged victims at the office of Dunbar’s attorney, Michael Grieco.    Dominic Johnson Instagram DM: “I made them same n----s that said they got robbed come in and say them Boys ain’t have nothing to Do with it.” Baker DM to Johnson: "Yo I’m in the city now getting cash how much to bring ?? I’m tryna get there too u ASAP.”   Unnamed team sources, asked for comment on our breaking news, said they would not expect DeAndre Baker to remain on the Giants roster much longer.”
