Colts @ Titans Game Day Thread

Recommended Posts

Hi, Colts fans!   :)  Our Indianapolis Colts are south down Interstate 65 in Nashville  to play the Tennessee Titans in the first AFC South divisional matchup in 2019, and both teams 50th all-time meeting, including one postseason game (1999).

Colts fell short to the L.A. Chargers 24-30 last Sunday at Carson, CA, while the Titans upset  at the resurging Cleveland Browns 43-13 in last Sunday's Week One action.

Indianapolis leads the all-time series entering today over Tennessee with their 33-16 record.  Since the 2003 NFL season, especially during the Peyton Manning-Andrew Luck era through 2018, the Colts defeated the Titans during that period with a 26-6  record.

Spero Dedes and former NFL and Arizona State University defensive back Adam Archuleta, are announcing the early regional single header seen mostly in the Midwest.

A hot day in Downtown Nashville is forecast for the 1:05 PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because the local gamecast inside Nissan Stadium is sunny and clear skies at 90 degrees, feels like 93 degrees, 0% precipitation, 41% humidity, and mild northern winds at 3 miles per hour.

Head Linesman Clete Blakeman leads his NFL officiating crew to supervise the live game action on the Nissan Stadium field between the Colts and Titans.

NO injuries to the Colts and Titans players, but our Colts will try to leave Nashville tonight with a 1-1 record.

Dismember the Titans in Nashville, Go Blue Horseshoe, and LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!       :coltslogo:   :1colts:  :colts:    :coltshelmet: . :coltslogo:   :D

I also give thanks, LOS.  Nice opening once again.

I dunno, I think our D bounces back nicely and our O tries its best to play keep away again.  I see it 24 - 17 us.

Banogu better have an awesome game.  We need him to.  Also look for JB to air it out a bit this week and for Campbell & Cain to get more involved.

:coltshelmet: Go Colts!  All day, every day. :coltsfb:

    • I am just hopeful that the Colts are able to draft one of top LT's at 21.  I know the top 3 or 4 will most likely be gone, but there is a very good chance they are able to get one that can start day 1.     It just makes sense in so many ways.  LT is a premier position and keeping the cost down on a 5 year rookie deal would certainly help with extending Q and Smith.  Kelly already has his extension and that would leave RG as the only spot that wouldn't be locked down over the next few years.  RG is arguably the easiest position to fill on the Offensive Line.  You also have to consider that the Colts want Wentz to ease in and there is no better way than with competent pass protection and a good running game.  I can see Offensive Line dominating the LOS and wearing other teams down while keeping their offense off the field.  Anyone who watched Peyton grimace on the sidelines can surely agree with that .
    • I thought this mess would be cleared up by now.   I'm not sure if he'll be traded, sit out or the NFL may not allow him to play at all.
    • There doesn't seem to be a strict schedule to it, typically a week or two between episodes.  Here's when all previous episodes were released: 2019 Episode 1 - April 3 Episode 2 - April 10 Episode 3 - April 18 Episode 4 - April 24 Episode 5 - May 1 2020 Episode 1 - March 25 Episode 2 - April 8 Episode 3 - April 21 Episode 4 (20 minutes long, basically 2 episodes in 1) - April 29 2021 Episode 1 - March 31
