  One thing Sheard gave us was holding the edge against cutbacks. Seems our Dline gets caught up in a pile towards the initial direction of the run.

Yeah Turay seems to get injured too often. Hopefully that changes for him. We need his pass rush talents.

He was actually dressed last week. Just didn’t get any snaps. I heard he will get snaps this week.

He had a sack (or a half sack technically) but he graded out pretty horribly in PFF. Personally, I didn't even notice him outside of the half sack.

As for Turay, I'm also a little concerned. Must've exasperated it against the Chargers.

Looks like he might get more time this week with Turay possibly out. Time to see what he can do.  AQM had a pretty good game at end. Not having Turay will hurt since they oline is kind of just a mess at two spots. I think Lewis will play some end also. He has to play if Turay is out.

IMO we should try this lineup:

Houston - Hunt/Ward - Stewart - Autry/Lewis

 

Bigger lineup, let's see if they can defend the run and pass. Won't hurt to at least try it for a few snaps.

Sheard is so important in run defense.  I hope he gets back for week 3!  They could have used him last week in that very winnable game.

You have to be a subscriber to read it. I can’t read it either but the headline says Lewis said he is working back into football shape. So he confirmed what Reich said.

This is going to stir the hornets nest.  Titans were 0 wins and 11 losses vs. Luck. They are 2 wins and 0 losses vs. Brissett.  (Different O scheme though...)

 

I have heard nobody on the NFL radio shows picking the Colts, either. (maybe Charlie Weis homered for his boy, JB)  Tennessee looking to get a division edge early.  Hope Reich / Eberflus have the right plans to thwart them.
