Donte Moncrief Drops

Two key drops already tonight for the Steelers vs the Pats.  Guy was but a tease when with the Colts, obviously didn’t work out for the Jags, and now failing for the Steelers.  I had high hopes for him, but he never stepped up.  No regrets on the Colts letting him walk.

Meanwhile Dorset is showing why the Colts drafted him in the first round. Kid has played well so far tonight

 4 targets

4 receptions

95 yards

2 TDS

been a career night for him.

Clear testament to Grigson's brilliance. :burnout::peek:

Grigsons incompetence was only matched by the coaching staffs inability to develop anyone on this team. It was bad all around.

As far as the trade goes...we both got something needed out of it. NE got wr depth (he is never going to be a pro bowl player) and the Colts got a good back up (but he won’t be a franchise qb either). Now the Allen trade is a whole nother subject. We won that one....at least we beat NE in something.

Hey, just twist the knife a little harder. Week 1 is all but over, and so is the NFL season lol. Enjoy!

Is the NBA back yet?

The book is not closed on Brissett’s ceiling.  He just might actually be the Colts’ next franchise QB.  He did most excellently in this season’s first test!

Starting  QB >>>>> than 2nd - 4th receiver!!!!

It was always a questionable draft pick, but Dorsett clearly had talent that the staff couldn't figure out how to use. By the way, this is Year 3 in New England, and the first two weren't exactly outstanding; pretty much did what he did for us in his first two years, plus a couple catches in the playoffs.

But last night? He looked like a guy who knows he was on the bubble with AB coming to town. He also looked like a guy who finally got weaponized by a good offensive system, which isn't completely surprising to me.

In New England he has the most important thing to have.. Brady’s trust.. that takes awhile to form so he is very much safe.. Gunner is gone I think when AB is officially signed.

I started several threads in the last 3 years about the importance of development. Didn't get a while lot of interaction. This current staff has development skills in spades.
