NFL Power Rankings

NFL Network is running through their new power rankings tonight (Tuesday).

They have dropped the Colts from no.5 to no.19 after the retirement of Andrew.

They also have a pet name for Brissett....Jake Brisket.

They also had a laugh about the Colts QB signings...saying the Colts were trying to buy their way to quarterback credibility.

This is a good point to remember. I think we have a competitive enough team to realistically be in the middle of the pack minimum.

You are correct...it was "tranquility".  I just watched the rerun.

For what it's worth....

 

ESPN's power rankings have dropped the Colts from 5th to 23rd.    Which, if it held in terms of the draft,  would mean we'd be picking 10th overall.

 

I'm confident when I say I don't think there's a good chance of that happening.

Just checked....     there's an even NEWER power index update.

 

Colts all the way up from 23,  to 21.    With a projected win total of......   7.

 

They say we have a 15 percent chance of winning the AFC South.

 

We have a projected draft slot of....   11.

 

Not a very pretty picture.      Hopefully we proved the predictions wrong as we did in 2012,  and as we did in 2018.     I like when history repeats itself in this way!

USA Today has the Colts at 22.    Seems like all outlets are on the same page.  

It all rests on Brissetts shoulders.   The team is solid.

But....... 15-19, seems right...... for now

 

I see a 9-7 year on the top side

6-10 on the bottom side
