I'm still undecided.

I also did a very brief search for tailgating yesterday, and didn't find anything. Please share!

There's a Socal Colts Fan FB account you guys should check out. One of my buds out there was trying to tempt me into going. He said they were planning a party bus and tailgate.

I was at that last opener in LA too - talk about miserable game and HEAT!

This year - I'll be at the Kansas City game.  Rented an RV and have spot reserved in tailgate lot if any other Colts fans want to come party with us.

Last time I went to an LA colts opener, Luck didn’t play and was out the whole season... so not me!

Same here. I was there when they played the Rams.

Yo I already got tickets to that game too. Hopefully it’s the game of the year!

Looking like this could be 50% Colts' fans, folks.  Ton of people are going from Indy!  I'll be in Lot 10.  Its immediately west adjacent to the stadium.  Come by and say hello.

Anyone a former Coltpower member? Tailgates were awesome with that bunch.

Let's go!

You can try to tailgate in LA but they do it with California Rolls and champagne.  Instead of bringing grills everyone brings headshots and the "script" they are working on.

I'm going.  The Colt game will be sandwiched between a drive/hike to the iconic Hollywood Sign on Saturday and to Universal Studios on Sunday.  Getting hyped, departing tomorrow, just about finished packing.   I expect Brissett to play well.  Unfortunately for the Chargers, they will be without RB Gordon, OT Okung, and S Derwin James.  Those are big losses but so is the loss of Andrew Luck but as mentioned, lucky we have JB.  Game should be entertaining.  As long as we win, even if only by 1 point, I'll be happy.  Interestingly, I went to the Colts/Chargers game in Indy a couple years ago, that was the year before Andrew sat out and we won that game in the 4th quarter with TY catching a long catch and run.

I will be there. Looks like the SoCal Colts Fans group is doing a party bus down and tailgating. More info can be found on their FB page.

    • Hey if he tears his ACL, they have no one to blame but themselves
    • I think it's fair to mention injuries in certain games.  We can and should always mention games where TY misses since we lose every one without him. It's just good context to have. We didn't specifically win/lose because of our injuries/opposing team's injuries, but I do think it puts context into the game. Just like a home/away game can, bad weather, penalties, etc.
    • Can you believe he is back at practice in a limited basis today. They are playing with fire.
    • Passer rating was much more reliable when the league was full of pocket passers. These days, not so much, and gets less reliable every year as we increase the number of dual threat QBs. I always look at the expanded QBR data (as well as NexGen, PFF, and FO) when trying to really compare QBs. There's really no perfect measurement out there IMO.   It's going to be very interesting to see how JB performs going forward. There's no doubt he was exceptional vs Houston, and it was a huge coming out day for him. Next week he'll play vs a very good passing defense unlike Houston (Houston is bottom 5 while Denver is top 5). Will Reich go back to a run heavy attack while not allowing JB to do much, or will he strive for balance. I love that Reich attacked Houston's weakness and had the confidence in JB to call that game plan, I'd just love to see that same confidence vs a tougher secondary.   And yes, his yards per completion have been low, but they were a bit better last week. Not sure if that is because Houston's passing D stinks in general, Houston was basically playing with 2nd, 3rd, and PS DBs, JB is getting better, or Reich's game plan simply included more deep 1st reads. Probably a mix.
    • I was til this season I dont feel like going through 30 pages of JB is gonna be the MVP or the popular let's trade Luck when he comes back topic. both are ignorant as hell. how would you even know when I'm in here you've been a member for what 5 months??
