They said on the radio that Brissett won't play in the next preseAson game but didn't mention an injury.  Does anyone read into that maybe they are not risking injury to their week 1 starting QB?

Reich said today he would not answer whether he would play. He said even if Luck plays he still needs to protect JB because Luck hasn’t gotten many practice reps. So I don’t think you can read to much into it.

Look, I appreciate the high frustration of fans here,  I get it.    I think of Luck as unfortunate.   But not fragile.    I think he's trying to be smart and taking less chances.    That doesn't mean his heart isn't in the game, or he's close to retirement.

I know this is scraping the bottom of the barrel.  I was reading through this thread to see if anyone was predicting him retiring.  All I could find was this.

    • Brees is listed as 6 foot which is tiny for a QB of his pedigree. Murray and Flutie are listed at 5'8". That is A LOT shorter than 6'.   I know their heights are probably all probably exaggerated, but all things being equal...
    • He has his flaws but I support him. He is a great leader and I can tell players like him.

    • So a 'great' coach is unprepared ? And an 'unprepared' coach is great ?     Hmmm....
    • I've only been a Colts fan since the early to mid 1990's, so maybe some of the older fans can help me, but it seems no matter the regime we have this weird spirit hanging over us forcing us to get off to a slow start every game, so I'm fine with Reich
