I actually like Foreman quite a bit.

 

However, I'm starting to wonder if Ballard isn't quite comfortable enough with our top 3 RB's. We usually carry 3. Will Wilkins stick?

Me too. I wanted him out of college. Injuries have set him back but if he is back at 100% I think he could be a stud.... But he has to prove it to make the 53.

This really is interesting. In the update from camp today he said Williams had like 3 TD.

Can totally see why Ballard picked him up.  Still very young and was a stud in College at least.

Also think Reich got on the table for Foreman.  He's built like Blount and Blount did well under Reich.

Me too.  I really liked him in college.  I read where he was waived because of work ethic.  If true something definitely went wrong in Houston.  Hopefully he comes in with something to prove.  Great move by Ballard.

The Texans placed RB D’Onta Foreman on waivers. They weren’t happy with his work habits. RBs on the roster are veterans Josh Ferguson, Buddy Howell and Taiwan Jones and undrafted rookies Damarea Crockett and Karan Higdon Jr.

Love this move, they kept Ferguson over him. Have to question this football acumen. Foreman vs Williams for the 4 spot as power back should be a fun battle.

He's no Chuck Foreman but a pretty good back if he can work on that attitude issue that helped lead to his waiver.

Nice. He was one of my favorite running backs in that loaded 2017 draft class. Looking forward to seeing what he can do here.

I trust Ballard completely, but was thinking the same thing. If these are their backs and they cut this guy...it makes me wonder. In Ballard we trust.

Lamar Miller is their starter, he’s a good RB.  It does fall off quick after him but they’ll pick someone up. Maybe Ajaye or even trade for Gordon.

If he works out, he will be nice depth behind Mack. I don't see him making much of an impact, but maybe a change of scenery was what he needed.

If this guy still has PS eligibility left I won’t be surprised if he is eventually put on the PS. This could be a similar situation to Collins.
