He isn't playing, but Sanders is questionable. He has been doing well enough. It's a toss up to me.  Looking at your options I think I'd rank them Sanders, Williams, Agholor.

After last night's game, I dropped Agholor. With the return of Jeffrey, his value goes down, IMO. DJax is supposed to be back for week 5 as well.

I'm starting Matthew Stafford in a daily PPR daily tournament this week; hope that works out. Mahomes is too expensive, as I have to stay under the salary cap and I have a feeling that Stafford will have to pass for a ton of yards to keep with KC.

Melvin Gordon plans on returning next week. I don't draft my fantasy team as I only play daily fantasy, but I might have him in one of my lineups next week.

Cool.

So I got Hopkins, do I replace Golladay, Kirk, or DJ Moore? I'm thinking Golladay or Moore, with a stronger lean towards Moore.

Is there a question in there?

@ Narcosys, I didn't originally have a question, but I'll ask one: what are your thoughts on starting Stafford? I also thought about Daniel Jones or Kyle Allen in another PPR tournament: which one would be better Jones or Allen?

I’d say Jones because of his rushing abilities.

And anyone else for that matter

Look to pick up Preston Williams from the dolphins. Rosen is in and those two were training camp buddies. Rosen will look to target him probably 50% of the time.

Let them wait to score a TD first with Rosen. He is not going to be high on any waiver priority, period. No one is going to bet on a 32nd ranked defense and 31st ranked offense to give consistent production. Look towards someone like Paul Richardson, if you are looking at a bad team in a bad division that at least has been scoring (Redskins 23rd in yards per game which includes games vs the Cowboys and Bears, two decent defenses).

Regarding 1. I am in the same boat. I like the Kyle Allen - Curtis Samuel connection. I think Carson will still get his touches, but he is not CMC to do well against the Cardinals' run D. CMC is the only one who has scored against them, if I am not mistaken. Mark Ingram could not score, Kerryon Johnson could not score, CMC scored on a run and catch. The Cardinals' goal line defense is outstanding against RBs and they sell out to the run, which is why Will Dissly may catch 1 or 2 TDs this week against them, all 3 TEs that went against them Hockenson, Andrews and Olsen have all caught TD passes. That is why I might tag Chris Carson along with Will Dissly as a flex in my line up in one of my leagues that is half PPR. 1 TD = 12 receptions, if you look at it and though you cannot count on TDs, I am pretty certain a Will Dissly will catch a TD vs Cardinals.

Regarding 2., I am assuming Will Dissly is not available. If he is, stream him, play him and keep Andrews on the bench this week.

Regarding 3., Matt LeFleur brought his Titans' and Falcons' ways of running the ball to take the burden off ARodgers. They are bottom 10 in tempo and pace in the league and have showcased the run more, and their D playing real well factors into it too. However, this TNF, the Eagles' front line is a very hard one to run on, so Rodgers will take to the air and get at least 2 TDs for you, a good week to play him.

I should have 1000% listened to you!!!!!!!

Dissly for Carson was a wash, but he scored a TD exactly like you said.  My biggest disappointment...I sat Rodgers and played Russel Wilson...was a last second decision and the reason I may lose this week.  I need Mixon to throw up a stinker and revert to week 1-2 form to pull this one out.

My next question, Hopkins has all but disappeared the last 2 weeks...where has my WR1 been?

I need qb help. Streaming is not working, because every top 10 matchup qb I get (Allen, cousins, carr, garappolo) can't score more than 15.

How's this trade look?

Mixon and Thomas

For

J. Jacobs, ODB, Lamar Jackson

My team:

WR: thomas, diggs, Kupp, MVS, C. Samuel, McLaurin, Tate

RB: mixon, cook, Damien williams, Gore

Opponents team:

WR: ODB, Cooper, A. Robinson, Kirk

RB: Elliot, Ekeler, Jacobs, Lindsay, Duke Johnson

Should I throw in one more receiver like MVS or Samuels?

Throw in MVS and try the trade, looks good from my viewpoint.

Would you accept a trade of Todd Gurley and Calvin Ridley for Michael Thomas?

I believe Ridley is a significant buy low player right now.

@chad72, @Jared Cisneros

Ignore that. Thing wouldn't let me edit.

He now won't accept it and wants an rb too.

My roster

WR: kupp, thomas, diggs, samuel, mclaurin, mvs, tate

RB: Cook, mixon, Damien Williams, gore

His roster:

WR: Watkins, Ridley, sutton, M. Brown, Metcalf

RB: Gurley, Gordon, Barkley, Hunt, Bulkhead

The only appealing RBs are Gurley and barkley.

He wanted mixin and thomas for gurley/Gordon and Ridley. Passed on that one for now because I want Barkley in the mix. I think I would have to do Kupp instead of thomas which dampens my WR value significantly. Thomas is one you keep for the second half of the season. Unfortunately, I'm 1-3 cause I can't get my team to put it together. If one does well, two others fall flat.  I need a qb and he has Watson, but his oline stinks and I'm about to get winston and Stafford.

Would a Kupp/Mixon/Gore sell it for Gurley/Barkley/Ridley? Analyzers call it even.

4 out of the next 6 games for Giants are vs Vikings, Patriots, Cowboys and Lions - so regression is coming for the entire offense including Daniel Jones. Good time for Barkley to rest up. The remaining 2 are vs Cardinals and Jets, and then the bye week. That is when, after week 11, will Barkley come back, IMO. The earliest I expect would be in week 10 vs Jets. So, you will probably not have Barkley's services till at least Week 9.

So 4 weeks prior to the playoffs start, that is what you are paying for with Barkley. Gurley is the prize catch here.

Ya, well Gurley ain't been too hot.

My RB outlook would be Cook, Gurley, D. Williams, and Barkley.

Now would you rather take C. Ridley or C. Sutton?

I'm done trying to trade with this guy. He always flakes out and then comes back with some nonsense.

Wants Thomas/Mixon for Gurley or Gordon, Thomas for Barkley, or his "final offer" of Barkley/Ridley for Thomas/Gore.

Out of his mind.

Don't do anything, keep Thomas, reject the trade!!! Pile up on WRs and play 3 WRs the rest of the way.

Stash a handcuff and hope the primary RB gets injured. Did you get to pick up Gallman? Once the Jets and 49ers come back from the bye week, see how things go with their RBs - Ty Montgomery in a PPR league could become valuable once Darnold comes back, which now could be week 6 or 7.

He can try riding Barkley for 4 weeks of usage he is going to get out of him. He is more butt hurt because he had the first pick and Barkley got injured. So a trade for "what could have been" is what he is going for instead of "what can it truly be on paper".

Nah, someone bid 22 for Gallman the week Barkley got hurt.

I just have Gore and Dam. Williams for my other RBs behind Cook and Mixon. Mostert is on my radar but haven't made a move to pick anyone up. Mosterts schedule looks pretty easy after week 6, and Montgomery may not be relevant till week 10, his last 4 games look nice.

Trades with other people are still in talks.

Trade McLaurin for J. Gordon

Trade Thomas, Diggs, Mixon for Lamar Jackson, J. Jacobs, and  OBJ or Cooper (leaning towards Cooper).

But this league is so trade averse it's amazing. All talk no action, no matter how much they believe it to be a fair trade.

Sounds like 2 of the 3 leagues I am in. I am the leader in 2 of the 3 leagues and even if it is a fair trade from a person ranked 1 or 2 in a 12 team league, you are looked at with suspicion or the attitude "why the heck should I help someone who is No.1 or No.2 after 4 weeks". Little do they realize, it is just 4 weeks, lots could change, and everyone is taking a chance on something at some point in time. To heck with them, they can let their overvalued players rot on their bench while they are injured.

Start/Sit

WR: Kupp, Thomas, Diggs, MVS, Samuel, McLaurin, Tate

RB: Cook, Mixon, Dam. Williams, Gore

Samuels and McLaurin are questionable, even though they have decent matchups. Diggs faces the giants, but who knows with him. MVS had significant potential with Adams out, but it's at Dallas.

What do you think it would take to get David Montgomery without sacrificing Mixon? I'm trying to get better RB depth and the only thing I think I can offer are samuels and MVS. But those would be depth for him, as he doesn't have much behind JuJu and Hopkins.

Looking at Chubb too, but need to give up Thomas or Kupp and Dam. Williams because he already has singletary, and he only has 4 RBs.

If it is a PPR league, then Tate will have value. But I don't think Montgomery will offer you much more than who you have. Once Damien Williams is back and healthy, he will have plenty of upside. Just stand pat. Don't rush it for now!!!

Montgomery is getting tons of carries and after week 10 he has the easiest run D schedule possible. It's a half ppr, so close to standard.

He is not doing much with it though. Plus, Chase Daniels remembers from 2018 to involve Tarik Cohen more, so I feel Cohen will start eating into it more for a few games.

That Barkley and Ridley for Thomas and Gore is looking better.

Definitely not Gallop, they will run the rock vs the Packers.

Sanu has been shining more lately and with the Texans' decent pass rush, Sanu will be more active. Redskins cannot stop anyone but since the Patriots' run game is not lighting it up this year, I'd go with Dorsett plus both Edelman and Gordon are banged up, so this opponent is someone they can go with limited plays run for Edelman and Gordon.

Having said that, I read this too:

This is a tough one. I'd hate to bench Andrews knowing the numbers he can put up, but that foot injury is worrisome.

Dissly is definitely targeted quite a bit...although I think they both got 8 targets last week. I don't think either of them have an especially favorable match-up.

I would start Dissly this week, hoping for at least some form of shootout between the Rams and Seahawks. As long as Russ keeps targeting the TE, it could be another good game.

Thursday games are tough because you can go in to the weekend feeling good if your player performs...or you can dread the weekend if he's a dud!

Dorsett

Ridley has biggest potential, gallup is injured but supposedly coming back, and dorsett is td dependant and 3rd option.

He also went against two strong pass defensive teams. Look what he did to the eagles.  Houston's pass D is on par with the eagles.  ATL doesn't have the pass rush to get to Watson. There's plenty of passing to go around as both teams might struggle on the ground.

Statistically speaking they're 15th for total yards and 13th for yards per game. Those numbers are influenced by the chargers and Atlanta games. Of which half the Atlanta yards went to Julio, which is to be expected. We cover #2s significantly well.

We shut down mike Williams for example.

In a full PPR, yes. Not otherwise

I figure hines would get more targets than diggs because of the focus on passing with the Colts versus the focus on running with the Vikings. Plus rumours have started that diggs asked for a trade. Could mean fewer targets his way.

    • Final edition, call it a less penalty driven team draft.   The Colts trade up on Day 1.   Round 1 a)       WR Rome Odunze (Washington) – led all receivers in CFB in pass interference call draws with 9 in 2023. b)      LCB Quinyon Mitchell (Toledo) – Only had 3 penalties in the last two seasons. c)       WLB Edgerrin Cooper (Texas A&M)   Round 2  a)      OL Cooper Beebe (Kansas State) – Jack of all trades OL No matter where Cooper Beebe lines up, he produces elite play. At right tackle in 2020, he was a PFF honorable mention All-Big 12 honoree. As a left tackle in 2021, he was named first-team All-Big 12. In 2022 at left guard, Beebe was a second-team All-American.  Beebe's 94.0 pass-blocking grade over the past two seasons led all offensive linemen in college football. During that span, he didn’t allow a sack on 770 pass-blocking snaps.  Beebe is the only FBS guard who ranks in the top five in both PB (4th) and RB (2nd).  He still hasn’t allowed a sack since the 2020 season. 2023 earned college football midseason all-America First Team.   Very few penalties throughout his career. b)      FS/NCB Javon Bullard (Georgia) – only had 5 penalties in college. c)       SS Jaden Hicks (Washington State) – 2023 PFF TOW 2 honors. Leader on defense that off to a strong start for 2023 earning a 90.1 PFF grade in coverage with one interception after 3 weeks, dropped another but forced 4 incompletions.  Great field and anticipation skills along with ball production.  Versatile can align up in FS, SS, LB, or nickel.  Only had 3 penalties in 2023.   Round 3 a)       CB Khyree Jackson (Oregon) – 2023 PFF TOW 4 honors.  Jackson had a decent Senior Bowl Week and is best in Zone Coverage. Jackson’s got excellent height we covet at 6’3” with great weight at 203 pounds, with ideal arms 32” and the span of 78” and good 4.44s-Forty.  Only committed 4 penalties in 2023. b)       DB Dadrion Taylor-Demerson (Texas Tech) - only 7 career penalties with 200 tackles, 57 stops, 11 pressues, 3 sacks, 16 passes defended, and 10 interceptions. c)       LCB Kris Abrams-Draine (Missouri) - 2023 PFF TOW 4 honors.  After 6 games leads all FBS players with 8 PBUs (1.8 PDPG) while adding 3 INTs.   10 combined interceptions and (7) forced incompletions are the most among Power Five CBs while only allowing 11 catches all season. 2023 college football midseason all-America First Team.  His 86.8 coverage grade is 5th highest in the FBS allowing just 107 passing yards and 11 receptions on the season. d)      SWR Malik Washington (Virginia) – Josh Downs 2.0 and only committed 4 total penalties in five years (52 career games).   Round 4 a)      RG Zak Zinter (Michigan) 2022 PFF Week 5, 11, 12 TOW Honors. 2023 earned college football midseason all-America Second Team. • Holy cow!     And then shows he should have been picked top 5
    • This goes against everything Ballard would do, however it would be something that Irsay would love to do as he is a romantic. Probability is very very low though.
    • This would make us much better and talk about excitement, we really haven't been legit good since 2020 when Rivers surprisingly played good and Taylor was up and coming, + Leonard was a maniac back then. I have had tremendous patience with this team and Ballard. It's time to crap or get off the pot, being average gets old after a while. This fanbase is used to us making the playoffs every year, when it hasn't happened in 3 seasons, time to do something.
    • Boston takes an L at home against a Butlerless Heat team. I can't stand Boston, this is too funny.
