Should I start Mostert vs Cardinals  over Brian Hill vs Panthers this week? I don’t like Howard vs New England matchup this week.

I like Jordan Howard vs New England matchup this week.

If Doug Pederson has seen any film, avoiding Gilmore and McCourty is the best way to move the ball against New England. Browns did it with Nick Chubb, and the Ravens did it with Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram. Do you know who has the #1 "power" run blocking OL in the league? It is the Eagles.

https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol/2019 (sort by Power Rank)

It would be unwise for the Eagles to do any serious passing, especially when Alshon Jeffery is banged up, and they have an inferior WR corps with DJax on IR, and Zach Ertz and the WRs are going to be mostly used as decoy. Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders are going to get 40 carries at least, mark my words, with Carson Wentz possibly running it another 5-10 times.

Of course, everything goes out the window if the Eagles cannot contain the Patriots but after the bye week, it is very possible they limit the Patriots to the 20s by controlling clock. I made the mistake of sitting Ingram vs the Patriots, I'd suggest you don't sit Jordan Howard vs the Patriots. At worst, he will give you the same as the other options you are considering.

Made it to the playoffs

Mack vs Jags

Sanu vs Eagles

I honestly don't trust Mack at this point especially after the dolphins debacle.

Sanu, Eagles are a Pass funnel defense, that is where NE is going to make their money.

Hopkins. Robby Anderson is limited in practice and with 2 consecutive TD games, Crowder might get more attention. If Robby is a full go, Crowder.

With Brissett starting, Mack, definitely more touches than Hunt or Tyrell, IMO

So starting Mack, which is what i have now. Currently flexing Tyrell Williams, Diggs is an option, but isn't IMO, only other options are J. Samuels but Conners is back, leaving Hunt who performed well against Buffalo.

Both Williams and Hunt are risky, but in flex RB might be better. Tyrell though, I would think, should bounce back against Cinci.

You gotta start Hill against the Panthers soft  D. I couldn't get him in my FAAB and this is the one game to start him. Plus Mostert and Howard is questionable.

Oh yeah, with the Steelers in Baker's face, Hunt will catch enough passes to be flex worthy, IMO.

Actually Damien Williams and Jordan Howard are available for pick up, maybe stream one of them this week.

Hands down Damien Williams, he has come back to favor with Andy Reid lately and the Chargers' run D should give plenty of touches to him because of Mahomes.

Will Fuller at Baltimore or JuJu at Cleveland for my WR2?? Half-PPR league

I have to make a decision before tonight. :(

@Narcosys @Jared Cisneros @CR91 @runthepost

Will fuller, but clearly it's a risk with his hammy injury. He's the better option imo but if you have nothing else and he doesn't go, you've basically handed the game over.

I will play it safe and root for JuJu  :)

Boy, James Conner just can’t stop himself from screwing owners over. He’s so fragile he’d get hurt flipping burgers at White Castle. I made the decision to double down on him after the Miami game and seeing his schedule to end the season.

I’ll probably never draft a Steelers player again after dealing with his delicate * all season.

Ugh it's never easy. I was going to drop Jaylen Samuel's to pick up Williams,  now that Conners is hurt again,  leaving Jaylen Samuels as replacement for Cook next week vs Cinci. Hunt is an option to drop, but he faces miami next week and could be a better play than Mack who faces Houston.

Leaving Alexander mattison as my last option to drop, but he's my Cook handcuff...lol

Maybe just drop Tyrell Williams as I'm only playing him next week vs jets over D. Adams who plays SF.

Diggs vs Denver

Or

T. Williams vs Cinci

I feel Diggs can get shutdown, but Oakland is just going to run so much I don't think willams has much of a ceiling or floor.

Im feeling Diggs because Antonio Brown, OBJ and Diggs, those type of shifty guys have given issues to the Broncos’ Harris in the past, and gotten some chunk yardage.

@Narcosys

Told ya bro!!!

Yup

My opponent has Kelce left and I'm beating him by 34 (he had Woods starting and JuJu in his flex). Helped get my win.

However for next week.  My week 12 lineup was looking like

RB: Mack @Hou,  J. Samuels, @ Cinci, Hunt vs Mia, Cook bye

WR: Thomas vs Car, Mclaurin vs Det,  T. Williams @ Jets, Adams @ SF, Tate @ Chi, Diggs By

now do I drop Mclaurin or Williams to pick up Jonathan William's, or just roll with Samuels and Hunt?

Also, I'm benching Adams because of SF, but they are showing signs of vulnerabilities, would you play him instead?

Yes, I’d play Adams at home. Yes I’d try to pick up Jonathan Williams.

Ugh. Do we drop Mack on waiver claims this week? I think he’s done for the year, so I’m heavily considering it. I have James Conner’s perpetually injured * already clogging up my IR on a weekly basis, and Samuels on my bench for when he scrapes his elbow and has to miss time.

Pick up Jonathan Williams if you think you have to, but don’t have high expectations for him. Houston’s run D is much tougher than the Jags and held Mack to just 44 yards on 18 carries in our first game. We’ve also got Wilkins (Likely) coming back, and this coaching staff loves to neuter RBs potential the way they sub them in and out. Mack has just as many games totaling less than 10 points as he does 15 or more. 0 games in the 10-15 range. The way we churn RBs in and out makes them boom or bust options.

I’m going to claim Williams just because Mack is out and I need help. But I’m honestly hoping I don’t get him so I don’t have to make that decision Thursday. If Wilkins is out again then yes. By work volume projections he’s a good bet. But if Wilkins is back this week I think he hurts your feelings by weeks end, especially if you start him.

After this season I’d have to really talk myself into it to draft James Conner in the 10th or later, and I’ll never roster another Colts RB under this coaching staff again.

Hey, we all love those bell cow RB options that get us 10-15 points every week.  If you look closely, there are as many of them with such inconsistencies as Mack. Game flow and RBBC due to RB injury possibilities by nature of the position will lead to such inconsistent usage. We are definitely not an alpha RB (3 down backs) kind of team.

Current line-up this week.

Half PPR:

WR: D. Adams @SF, M. Thomas v Car, T. Williams @NYJ,  G. Tate @Chi, T. McLaurin vs Det, Diggs (BYE)

RB: J. Samuels @Cinci, K. Hunt vs Mia, Cook (BYE), Mattison (BYE), Mack (IR), D. Guice vs Det (Waiver Claim in), J. Williams @HOU (Waiver Claim in)

Def: Pit @Cinci, Bal @LAR

Looking to get D. Guice and probably flex him in over T. Williams.  Currently starting Pittsburgh D, but Ravens might be the better option here...idk

Full PPR:

WR: Hopkins vs Ind, D. Moore @NO, J. Crowder vs Oak, ODB vs Mia, Gallup @NE, Tate @Chi

RB: Elliot @NE, D. Johnson vs Ind, Cook (Bye)

TE: Z. Ertz vs Sea, Olsen @NO

Def: Bal @LAR, NE vs Dal

Again, starting Bal Defense, but NE is NE.  Also, Bo Scarborough (@ Was) is available on waivers. Thinking of grabbing him and starting him over D. Johnson.

Ugh. Not a fan of either. No better options on the wire?

49ers have done well against good teams like Seahawks and the Rams, they should give you sacks and limit the number of points, IMO. No???

Goff has had lots of issues with his O-line this year. But that game is at home for him. Rodgers takes plenty of sacks or throws it away, won't give picks much but will take sacks. I have the Eagles' D for weeks 13-16.

I hate to add a 4th defense and hog more roster spots just for 1 week, hence the question.

49ers def. You'll get at least some form of sacks, INT's and fumbles with them. I also expect them to beat the Packers pretty handily.

There are two nos in fantasy. Don't play anyone on the pats. Never bet against Aaron flipping rodgers

I need help too

Mayfield vs dolphins or Jimmy G vs Packers

Hunt vs the dolphins or Brandin Cooks vs the Ravens

Mayfield since he’s been taking care of the ball. Only time Jimmy G threw for more than 2 TDs this season both came vs Cardinals I think.

Hunt definitely, if it’s a half or full PPR league

Jimmy G has had a lot more chances to throw though. No it's standard otherwise no question

    • I was not a fan of the NFL during old times, but I've heard a lot about Fran..   I'd be okay with Cousins if the guy can think properly on football field, otherwise he's consistently elite in passing stats and never gets injured and misses a game. Only problem is he doesn't have the greatness between the ears to win it all for a franchise who has never won a Super Bowl.   If older Vikings fans ever want to see a trophy, the only way is to draft a franchise QB and hope it works in next decade or so. It's better than being good for 8-11 wins and an occasional play-off game with Kirk.   If he goes to say, Seahawks, and finish his career with all time records, the franchise at least has got SB win recently so they could be happy with some great exciting games with Cousins.   Vikings owner needs to focus on only thing - a Super Bowl trophy. For generations of fans who have never won it all.
    • Understand... but why do you say that Jones will ever have to face his HC again?   Would you just like him to be placed in reserve list and the franchise releasing him by the end of the year or contract?   I think releasing him would do similar favor as he could get the help he needs and get back to NFL proving he's healed mentally. As he's a great player, some team would get him next year if he's back to his old self.   He can still salvage his career but more importantly he needs his family to take care of him and get the assistance he needs. I think releasing him would make him focus on getting back to NFL if he wants, or at least let him free to heal and move on towards next chapter in life.   Team could've placed him on a reserve list, I don't think there's any problem doing that technically, but either way he's been done a favor to get back to focus on his health.    He could still receive pension, retirement & veteran benefits from the league, right?
    • Irsay also let one of his all time favorites Edge, who also happens to be a running back, walk in free agency.
    • I have always liked the vikes. They are a old time original team with past legends and success. But in modern times it seems the Football Gods frown on them from having too much success... just a season here and there usually followed by mediocre or worse play. They are similar to the Colts minus Manning/Polian era, not like franchises historically brownies, lions, cards, jets etc... But not like the top franchises that when good go to super bowls.  That's why I hope colt fans enjoy this season if they have some success and not look  into the next few years of building and expecting a Super Bowl team. NFL team building isn't necessarily linear and teams like the colts & vikes can be like yo yo's....up one year, down the next.  I know fans have been wanting to move on from Cousins, but getting someone better/consistently elite  may be easier said then done but there seems to be multiple good QB prospects.    Do you remember Tarkenton?  I Remember him vaguely seen vids of him. He was quite a scrambler. And the Purple People eaters.    Anyway, I expect Cousins to be with the Jets soon.. I wish him success but that's difficult with that team.. LoL
