That was really interesting. Only guy I have heard of was Jefferies. Although the last guy who is with the falcons seems to have had a pretty good career.

Being 5-9, and from FIU had a lot to do with that lol.

What is funnier IMO is that we took two TEs before taking TY.

2012 had a lot of WRs flame due to behavioral issues. A bunch went in the first round. The two best WRs taken were in the second (Jeffery) and third (TY).

What struck me looking back at that draft was that Bobby Wagner and Lavonte David went after Fleener.

So did Courtney Upshaw. Can't nail every pick.

You can do this with every draft. What annoys me is getting Fleener over Schwartz or Cordy Glenn. I wanted Glenn at the time of the pick.

Blackmon is a sad case.  All the talent but an addictive and self destructive personality.

that is a weird group.  blackmon could have been great, jefferies has had a very good career but not all with the bears

i thought floyd would be good, and he was for a year or so and then apparently he too had a substance problem

It was a good trade for Indy and glad they did it!  Geez, looking at that draft, only Luck and Hilton shined.  I know Dwayne and Coby had some moments but definitely not what we all hoped.

Fleener in his 2nd and 3rd year looked like he was a good pick injuries really killed his career

I thought we reached on Fleener at the time (at least talent wise)... but I liked the pick as he was a Stanford kid and gave Luck someone to be comfortable with right away after coming to fill Peyton's shoes.

Yes, it's kind of nuts how much of this roster Ballard has had to overhaul in such a short time.. Grigs really left him without much talent.
