A new one of Cosell talking about the QBs:
He talks about Burrow(exceptional in every way except for arm strength), Tua(will need to succeed from the pocket as a rhythm, precision QB(ala Brees), rather than a Russell Wilson type of playmaker - doesn't have the athleticism) and Herbert(has traits, size, arm strength, mobility... not timing and anticipation thrower, ball placement not as consistent as it needs to be especially on routine throws), Love (more of a ball distributor than Herbert, more of a precision QB, "much to work on with Love, but also a lot to like" - "clearly 1st round talent and he will be drafted in the 1st round") and summarizes them in a similar way to what he's said in other earlier podcasts. Still good to listen to. I will transcribe what he said about Eason and Hurts here:
Also, he says Burrow is the best prospect clearly and after that it's in the eye of the beholder for the other 1st round prospects(Tua, Herbert, Love, Eason).
You can be replaced easier than a pro athlete. Plus you aren’t going to work everyday with the potential of a career ending injury. Contact and all that. Anything could happen but they have more bargaining than you do with your boss
Aiyuk comparison to Robert Woods, who is an outstanding route runner. Is Aiyuk that good of a route runner? Pittman comparison to Courtland Sutton, I am intrigued.
Gandy Golden, I feel, is going to be successful in this league. Last year, Hakeem Butler was all the craze on this forum till he went first pick in Round 4 and then got injured with the Cardinals, I am curious to see how he does this year.
