Andrew is a great talent. And I have faith he can take us to many SB wins... I have been watching a lot of highlights of Colts of the 2000s, and Peyton Mannings touch on throws, just put you in awe of the amazingness of such a pass. How many touchdowns in the back corner of the endzone have we seen?

Andrew is great and I wouldnt trade him for any in the league today. He doesn't have elite touch on his throws. And that's not to say he doesn't hit his windows. He does most of the time but I have yet to see his touch on throws reach that hight. It may be a boring observation but most are at this time of year. Is it preseason yet?

One of Andrew's elite abilities is his pocket awareness from day one.

Well I would disagree with that assessment not elite touch on throws sure he doesn't always get the pass exactly where he intended to throw it but he completes a lot of passes deep down the field and a lot of them in very tight windows where he receiever either catches it drops it or its out of bounds. So don't agree with you with that assessment.

Luck is very accurate when he has time.  Nothing hurts a QB's accuracy more than being sacked,  hit often, and constantly pressured.  If and/or when he gets real run support, his O-line jells, and he's not running for his life, he will show what he can do.    Even Unitas played poorly when he was on the run.

I keep telling you to rub some dirt on it to make it better, but no one will believe  Peyton. I for one have great belief in Manning's statement. LOL

Maybe you should figure out that Peyton and Manning are the same person. Otherwise I dont think you know what they have in common besides everything.

Like I said the only thing in common they had was being drafted #1 overall by the Colts to play QB.

    • He almost beat Michigan State last year. To me he looks like he is in a NFL offense. Looks like a NFL QB to me. Much more then what I saw from Herbert last night.
    • This is a video of Utah state from last year when they played Michigan State. Love looks like he is in a NFL style offense and looks like a NFL player to me  BTW there is some footage of Khari Willis int in this video.  I guess I don’t see why a guy like Herbert would go before Love. It’s a pretty big difference to me in the style of offense they play.
    • That changes with the wins and losses.  As always, things are never as good as they seem just as they are not as bad as advertised.
    • He may turn out to be a decent pro, I really don't know. You are better than me at analyzing college players. I just don't watch enough college games to try and guess who will be a good or great pro. I have seen Burrow and Tua play some but it is because they are always on TV. I have looked up Jordan Love on youtube lately because you guys think he may end up being a good pro. To me the draft is fun, mocks are fun to read too, but the draft is also a crapshoot. Teams have to get lucky and guess a lot, like KC did with Mahomes. Baltimore did with Lamar too. With Luck we just knew he would be good to great. For so many good QB's there has been many that have been busts like Ware, Mirer, Shuler, Leaf, Couch, Harrington, J.Russell, RG3, Mariota, etc.. When those guys came out they were labeled as can't miss pro's. = Will be good at worse. Thank God we took Manning instead of Leaf.
    • Yeah, not a great game for him. He still made some nice throws, but the consistency wasn't there. He had some very questionable accuracy on several important throws that he needed to make.      This was a beautiful throw though. He had several NFL type throws even in this game in which he played far from his best. The lack of consistency is why he won't go day 1 or 2. If he was more consistent we wouldn't be talking about him as an "under the radar"/day 3 QB.      Nah, he needed better accuracy on his throws and needed to get rid off the ball more quickly on several occasions. His OLine didn't help either.
