Great Eric Ebron story

Recommended Posts

His mom sounds awesome.

Quote

“I was like, ‘OK, we need to change scenery,’” she recalled. “I said, ‘Well, I hear football's good in the South. We need a change of pace.’”

“So my mom's like, ‘Well, we've got to move one of two places: either North Carolina or Florida.’ And I was like, ‘What?’” Ebron said. “She was so serious. She was like, ‘Well, we're moving. Here in the next month you need to let me know where we're going.’”

Jackson wasn’t kidding around. About a month later, Ebron came home to find a U-Haul truck parked in front of his place; its destination: Greensboro, N.C.

Love the story! Glad Ebron could revitalize his career. If he isn't re-signed after this season, I wish him the best.

Great story, what a character this guy is.

What impressed me more is how Andrew Walker is becoming such a good writer, this article may be the best I've seen yet from him. Love he has brought back the Mailbag.

I'm super excited about what the media department of the Colts is doing, I've been back in Indy since 1995 and it has been difficult to get good information and insider slants (until recently) I'm glad the franchise is being more open and embracing of the fan base. This forum, colts.com and the colts app have have matured exponentially the past 3 years...

Chris Ballard effect???

Anyway, the Colts Official Podcast are awesome, check them out on colts.com and in the App.

I really love the official podcast. The one yesterday had Campbell on. He is a smart kid and was very impressed by him.

    • Current Draft Order:   1. @Matthew Gilbert 2. 3. @WarGhost21 4. Luck Be a Lady 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. @onebad150   @Bluefire4 you're next.   I know it's still very early so if anyone needs time to do some mock drafts over the next few weeks, I understand.
    • The Browns will need to galvanize as a team this year the same way the Colts did last year.  That means they are a step behind us and not ahead of us imo and that they will lose close games that a more experienced team wins.
    • Ballard is a shrewd guy.  Maybe by contacting the Texans & making it public he’s “letting Clowney know” he’s got a fan of his game in CB & the Colts...  I saw a stat that said his tackle for losses were up there with Aaron Donald.  We need a guy like him who can wreak havoc in the backfield be it against the run or the pass.  Don’t be surprised if Ballard gives him a good long look next year in free agency unless Texans are foolish enough to trade him within the division.
    • Wouldn’t make it past 10.  Guy has never had a losing season in any year he was healthy.  What owner wouldn’t sign up for that?
