Well here we come. If you are doing a board for this year's draft you can post it here if you want to, so we can discuss the more interesting rankings. As a start I'm posting my 1 week before the draft board(top 101 players, excluding QBs), I'm still moving players around a bit and if I have some changes before the draft I will post them before the draft. 

 

I do NOT have a refined system for evaluation. I do this for fun and to see where I go wrong and right with the things I like and dislike in players and I'm very far from having any illusions about the (lack of) sophistication of my board.   I don't have complex grades for the players so the way I stack them is purely by how I feel about them(do I like this player better or not than the other player) after I watch their tape and their performance at the combine or pro-days or all-star type games like the Senior Bowl... I do have a bit of a lean towards players I think will fit with the Colts system but I try not to punish players at positions we don't have big needs(center for example). In general, I consider the players in the same tier(same color designation) very close to one another and I wouldn't mind taking the last one in the tier over the 1st one in the same tier if it makes roster-construction/need/positional value sense... 

 

Any comments are welcome. Any of your own boards are welcome too. I titled the thread this way so it wouldn't be exclusionary and so everyone can post their board and we can discuss all of them in 1 thread instead of spamming the whole forum with them.

-Ed Oliver

-Brian Burns

-Jerry Tillery and Jeffery Simmons

-Hakeem Butler and Marquise Brown

-Chauncey Gardner-Johnson

-Sean Bunting and Julian Love(partly because I think they fit well in our system)

-Anthony Nelson

-David Montgomery

-Jamel Dean

-Andy Isabella and Miles Boykin? (I have them both as late 2nds... I don't know if that's too high) 

-Bobby Okereke and Drue Tranquil

 

I'm lower than consensus on:

-Rashan Gary

-Cody Ford(although I still like him and I think he's a 1st rounder)

-Josh Jacobs(this is mainly due to positional value)

-N'Keal Harry and Kelvin Harmon

-Trayvon Mullen

-Taylor Rapp

- ???

You weren't lying about being high on Hakeem Butler lol

Don't want to pin hopes on a list of players with Ballard doing the drafting. Just going to enjoy the ride whomever he picks. These are good well thought of talent on everyone's list, that the media has given airtime to, The question is, Does anybody checks off all of Ballard's value for the position at what we pick at for our team? If so, then it could very well be one on somebody's list.

Love the board aside from I think Simmons is overrated. Either way, great work!! Really helps to have insight on other peoples rankings when scouting myself!

I just checked my full board and for some reason I've placed Texas A&M into Miss state for all defensive prospects. Johnathan Abram is another one that I've marked as Texas A&M instead of Mississippi state.
