Gavin Mock Draft V2.0 2019

The fact everyone wants to trade down just tells me how crappy this draft class is overall

Depends on the position but I think there is a lot more value in rounds 2 & 3.
The top of the draft is good for D-Line and a couple of other guys but I agree with Ballard in that once you get past the top 15-20, everyone in the next 40-50 is very similar and could go anywhere.

I was thinking that too -- that there is not many players to trade up for. However, if what you wrote is true, then folks should want to trade up to get the best players rather than a bunch of mediocre ones. No?

Ok here we go. For ease, we’re gonna keep going right in this thread. Round 2-4 draft order updated after the trades are pasted below. Double check me and make sure I didn’t miss anyone and if we are good, we’ll kick off round two.

you're fine.  Its the player.  I just dont think he's that good.

I think he fits the Kingsbury offense better than Hollywood, and I see them as the best players left on the board.  Fitzgerald, Metcalf, and Kirk would be a good set of WRs.  Thought about O-Line here, but the Cardinals need a tackle and I don't think the value is there with McGary or Little yet.  They're set off decent inside with Max Garcia, Mason Cole, Justin Pugh, J.R. Sweezy, and A.Q. Shipley.  Their defense has already had a few good additions, and I think they can get by with just a NT and an ILB.  I can get those later.

What do you guys think of that haul for the Raiders so far?

That's probably better than what they'll do in real life.  With all the picks they have, they need to nail this draft to make all that wheeling and dealing worthwhile.

Quantity is not quality, too early to tell!!! Glad that you gained the picks. Let us see what you do with it.
