Andrew luck got married

Recommended Posts

Sweet. I was wondering when they would get married. They have been engaged for awhile. I imagine his injuries he had to rehab the last couple of years postponed in.

The fact that we are finding out after the fact, via an article in the Indy Star (and not Instagram or Twitter or FB) is so AL, I just love that guy. Congrats Andrew and Nicole!!! Enjoy the off season to the full.

I believe they have been together since college. I think it’s cool they got married in her parents country.

It was always weird to me that they weren’t married years ago when he got into the NFL.

Not a bad weird, btw. Just thoughts of “I wonder what they (he?) is waiting for.”

There goes 50% of his assets lol.

I'm sure his flip-phone and neck-beard are protected by a pre-nup.

But if not, what is the approximate worth of half a flip-phone and half a neck-beard?

My guess is they were planning on the last few years and he ended up having all these injuries to rehab on the offseason.

Being married, he may start spending more time in the film room now. :peek:

Yeah, I was with my wife for a year before we got engaged and our engagement was another year long.

They have probably been together for 8 or 9 at this point.

You’re correct.   She was on the Stanford gymnastics team.   Been together ever since.

ADD:   Nicole also has a degree in architecture, like Andrew does.   But, oddly enough,  currently works as a field producer for ESPN and NBC Sports.

Marriage is a 3-ring circus:

1.  Engagement ring

2.  Wedding ring

3.  Suffering

Congrats to the happy couple!  Was wondering if they were even still a thing.  Did not know she was from Czech.  Very cool that they were able to do this with her family present.

Roger Goodell called and said he wanted Luck to get married this year because Indy is gonna win the Super Bowl and he needed a narrative to go with it.  Now that they changed the interference rule the refs Determine the outcome.  Right, Richard Sherman?

He's got that Body Armor money now. He can afford to get married and start a family.

Wishing her the "best of Luck" on her wedding night.

If he got Lucky on his wedding night, there might be a little Luck on the way.

Hopefully Little Luck is a good Luck and not a bad Luck.

You know she hears "who's the lucky guy?" line ALL the time.

    • This seems really out of character for Luck,  I'm guessing his pregnant wife had a major role in his decision to quit football,  happy wife happy life.    I think Luck will regret his decision, he could have easily waited to see how things developed with his injury and then called it quits next year.
    • I can’t help but wonder if the people who booed Andrew — and/or continue to give him grief here or elsewhere — would’ve done much the same thing on May 2, 1939....   ....that was the day that Lou Gehrig informed Yankee skipper Joe McCarthy that, for the good of the team, he was benching himself due to a then unidentified physical ailment that was making it difficult for him to play at the level he had for 2,130 consecutive games prior to that.   I’m sure there were some Yankee fans who felt a range of negative emotions towards Gehrig.  But nobody, including him, knew at that moment that he would only live for two more years.   Yes, I realize the situations are very different.  My point is not to compare Andrew’s health situation to Gehrig’s.  My point is that we’re not entitled to having our sports heroes perform for us.   Sometimes, no matter how badly they may want to, they simply cannot.  And the truth is that we probably don’t know the whole story about Luck’s health status.  This clearly isn’t a calf strain.
    • I would have, 1. Peyton 2. Unitas 3. Luck 4. Jones  5. Harbaugh for 1995 alone   -Screw Morrall he was terrible in SB 3. He gave the Jets the game.
    • Judging from the reaction of the sporting world, it's quite apparent that he was held in very high regard.  Seeing their comments does help ease the disappointment.
    • Brissett managed 4-12 with a greatly inferior team, and had Colts in position to win late in most games.  He’s also been practicing with first team all camp compared to all of eight days from being the Pats 3rd Stringer to Colts starter.  While I cannot think of one thing he does as good or better than Luck, he’s no Curtis PInter.
