Dolphins to run with Osweiler?
Interested to see what they got for Tannehill... If it's picks... I'd be interested.

Thing is,  I'd take brissett over tannehill. Hes younger and has a lot more potential then him. So if they got Ryan for a 4th...  Then what's brissetts value?

theres no way the dolphins make this move unless their trading with us for brissett or moving up in the draft

Tennessee release their starting OG Josh Kline. He's been average during his career. I wouldn't mind us taking a look. He'd be good depth at 29 years old.

The trade would be nice but definitely see them drafting a QB. Won't necessarily need to move up though.

They pick 13th, right? Not particularly high if they have a specific QB in mind that they already feel fairly certain they can get?

Murray, Haskins, and Lock will all be gone in the top ten so unless their banking on Daniel Jones being their QB of the future, their gonna trade up or trade with us

LOL. Something is going down. Do they pick high enough to get a QB in the draft

From what I'm hearing they are trying to be as bad as possible over the next couple of years so they can get either Tua or Lawrence. This kind of fits. I doubt they would be able to sell that to the fans so they probably will sign someone like Fitzpatrick as bridge.

Come on Ballard work your trade robbery magic like you did last year with the Jets and get all you can from Miami for Brissett!

I just really hope when Andrew luck is ready to retire we get blessed with another great qb!  This makes me appreciate how lucky we are lol

Imagine it would cost a bit for them to move up this year. Especially with QB needy teams ahead of them.
Still think we are over-valuing Brissett on his ability. Obviously great in the locker room.

What happened with us getting Luck was so rare. We really should thank irsay and Peyton for moving on. They knew Luck was going to be going number one and we had the number one pick and Luck was ready to start.

Brissett was good for the 3rd overall pick. MIA has a bad enough roster that can make up the difference between #1 and #3.

I bet Tannehill will end up with that starting job on TN.

I tend to agree with this. Looks like Ten is trying to light a fire under Mariota, he has been injured lots, and when he is healthy he has been average.

Miami has something in the works. I hope if its with us Ballard gets a good return for Brissett, he is valuable to us.

doesnt mean we can't reopen talks. We're gonna get a third round comp pick next year for Brissett anyway so it doesn't matter if we trade him or not

    • NB;   I came into the series thinking Toronto is the better team but the results haven't show that until Tuesday. Brooke Lopez and Niko Mirotic ..George Hill? We love Hill in Indy but he's never done what he's doing for the Bucks.   Marc Gasol is a great player..I dont know why he was so shy and hesitant in the first two games. Player for player..Toronto should be winning
    • And here is the actual NFL draft profile that was alluded to,  but NOT linked.    I'm linking it.   And, Kelly had a solid draftable grade and was called a possible low-level starter.    So, clearly he might also be considered a decent back-up, which is all anyone is talking about here.   Kelly's profile.   Not a first rounder,  but not a camp body either.   Possible Brissett replacement in 2020 if he leaves.   http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/chad-kelly?id=2557869
    • The second part is correct(perceived pass threat usually makes opponents send less people in the box and create more advantageous run situations), the first part about having elite RB - I'm not sure about. I mean... sure... if you can just snap your fingers and have an elite RB for the same money and without spending premier assets ... sure... have at it. I'm not sure having elite RB is worth investing big asset(1st... maybe even 2nd round pick? or huge contract). Generally the factors by importance for your run game go something like this:   1. Quality of your OLine run blocking  2. Quality of your pass game   3. Quality of your running back   It's not "not important", but it's probably not worth the capital you need to invest in order to achieve it.
    • I didn't form my opinion off of someone else's draft profile at NFL.com. I based it off of what I saw on film. And Peyton Manning laid a few eggs in college IIRC.
    • Sucks, but probably for the best honestly. He responded to the trolls and that only keeps them coming back. I wouldn't even have a twitter if I was a professional athlete honestly. Then again I don't have one even as a regular guy. I get actors/actresses having them to promote their brand and because fan popularity is so important there, but for athletes it only seems to be a distraction or downfall.
