The only FA/Trade veteran I voted for was Rivers.... due to his history with Reich.... and that there is no ambiguity as to him being a bridge QB.
I would have voted Stafford, who is only 32, but the Lions GM has adamantly stated he's NOT trading Stafford.....that is unless he's adamantly lying through his teeth.... which is entirely possible.
Anyway.... I'm open to any of these rookies if Ballard and Reich decide to draft one of them.... and whoever that is can learn under Rivers for a season, or perhaps until Week 8 if we have a lousy record at mid-season.
Myles Turner 8 Blocks tonight, yeah he sucks lets trade him according to some in here . The Pacers are now 34-24 and realistically have a shot at the 4 seed still. This team isn't as bad as people keep saying they are. We have had a few stinkers lately but it isn't even March yet. Nice blowout win tonight by us.
That very rarely works. Every now and then you get a Russell Wilson or Dak Prescott, but that is rare. Usually the mid round guys that you sit and develop never really develop into anything. Remember Landry Jones and Joshua Dobbs for the Steelers? How about Brett Hundley? Cody Kessler? What about Bryce Petty? Some of those guys mentioned aren’t even in the league as backups.
Needing a franchise QB and betting on a developmental QB is not the way to go. You either draft one in the 1st two rounds or miss out.
