I would bet my next 3 paychecks we don’t draft a TE in round 1. 

 

Now if we could somehow get two of those 4 players you have with our 2 2nd round picks, that would be a hell of a day 2 draft haul.

Yes it would...I was primarily looking at our DT draft history. Woods 4th rounder, Ridgeway 4th rounder, Stewart 4th rounder, hunt 2nd rounder by the bengals, Autry UDFA... etc. I think the value for DT is there...unless one of the top 5 fall to 26.

I think this forum would go nuclear if CB took a TE and 3 WR’s in the first 3 rounds. I’d say it’s extremely more likely that the team takes a top wr that’s left in the 1-3 rounds than it would be to expect we target 4 offensive picks during those rounds. 1 offensive guy and 3 defensive guys would be my guess. Actually, I’d go so far as to say before we pick up 3 wr’s in this draft, we have another OL player in rounds 1-3 before the chances of having 3 wr’s in an entire draft, let alone in the first 3 rounds.

BPA... Now we have the line... maybe add 1st-3rd round talent at the skill positions... probably should have had a top OG in third or fourth. I just don’t see those top guys DT falling to us... so take the top guys in other positions.
