This is disappointing and, on a personal level, pretty disgusting, but I think a lot of people are making a bit of a leap here insinuating that Kraft would be aware of the status of any of these women. Soliciting, versus being involved in human trafficking, are two very, very different things. Plus if you're going to apply the moral compass to Kraft how can you ignore some of the things Irsay has done? Seriously? That's the ultimate case of hypocrisy if you want to go there, but whatever.

I'm not happy. I don't condone it. But let's not make this more than it really is because, itself, it's bad enough.

Jim, like many Americans, had an addiction to painkillers.  He wasn't participating in the sexual rape and assault of victims of human sex trafficking. Jim went to rehab, Jim paid his fines and had his suspension.  Jim didn't hurt anyone but himself.  What Kraft has allegedly taken part of is a MUCH greater level of crime than anything Jim or for that matter, Robert Irsay, has done.  At least that we know of.

Bill, Brady and Kraft sure have shady pasts when it comes to women.  That says more bout their character than any spygate and/or deflate gate incident. No moral compass for these men when it comes to their relationship with women.  Take what u want kind of mentality.

BB been divorced, because he lived and sleeper football.  (No real “issue” with woman)

Brady been married to Gizelle for ages and he broke up with Moynahan BEFORE he knew she was pregnant but has maintained a good relationship with her and his son.

Kraft before this was married to his wife for like 50 years till she died and it appears he has shown poor judgement here but again being a Jon is hardly an earth shattering offense. I know all the trafficking people will say “he must have” fact is right now all we know is he is charged as a common John something anyone else gets community service and MAYBE 30 days in jail for.

I remember years ago there was something with Kraft and another woman (while he was married).  I forget the story but it got a little press.

Questions that are too early to answer.

Kraft stays at the Breakers hotel. I heard some say here this place was in a rundown strip mall in a sleazy part of Jupiter 25 miles away in which its now known that he's made multiple visits there.

I can see not arranging a escort come to the Breakers because of secrecy.

But why pass up nice discreet hotels and other 'massage parlors' to come to this one? This one that is part of a sex slave probe?

It's going to be interesting if the girls here were underage. If so, was Kraft with a minor knowingly or not. Did he know the girls were forced to work there?

Again why did he pass up all the Hotels and other brothels along the way to visit this shady place?

Kraft has humiliated himself. If you try to spin his responsibility in this, you join in his humiliation.

:agree:

This mentality I'm reading today, about how it's not that bad, everyone does it, it's been around for years, he just got caught, blah blah blah

You know how best to not get caught in illegal activity....

Easy

Don't do it.

Patriots fans have sunk to a new low: shrugging this off with the "who cares what two consenting adults do?" line. THESE ARE VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING NOT WOMEN GIVING THEIR CONSENT.

Kraft can add another mark to his legacy: taking advantage of human trafficking victims.

Patriots fans here have not defended anything.

Instead we are choosing to wait for the facts before judging.

I can respect the waiting for facts. And you might be. I am as well. But there’s other patriots fans who are adamantly denying and excusing this, at least 1 in this very thread.  That said, the fact the police allegedly have video evidence of multiple visits and sexual acts by Kraft, the judging can and will commence right away. The remaining facts and questions will likely only make matters worse for Kraft when those become public

The leap from 'paying for sex' and 'involved in human trafficking and knowingly soliciting under age girls' is what I'm referring to.

Go ahead and judge away that there is evidence of multiple visits and video evidence. But the 'rushing to judgement before facts are known' and the 'he must have known' crowd need to take a step back...because once that narrative gets out, regardless of its level of truth, then there's no coming back from it and that simply isn't fair.

We do not know all of the facts, which is not surprising on the day something like this comes out.  It looks like he is only charged with solicitation and not human trafficking.  He may or may not have known there was trafficking going on.

For what it is worth, Kraft is denying the involvement.

For the most part Pats fans that I have seen on forums are not defending Kraft and some , like me and D13, would like to see how things pan out over the up coming days and weeks to see if we can get a better picture of things.

Agreed we don't know much yet.  This could be a simple case of him just trying to get some sex for money from an adult woman which while illegal isn't super huge.

Or it could be him being involved in human trafficking or underaged prostitution which would be massive and would likely not only involve prison but also involve a forced sale of the Patriots.

In that event, wouldn't everything just go to his son Jonathan?

I agree, we should wait until the investigation is done before making judgements.  Unfortunately, that is not how society is now, there is always a need for hot takes not matter the situation, that is what moves the needle.

Sadly, innocent until proven guilty no longer exists in the public eye.

Most likely but I think it’ll depend on the exact depth of the issue. If it’s just the buying a hooker thing, then likely not, but if they somehow prove he’s involved in a human trafficking ring, I can see the league forcing it out of the Krafts hands completely. We’ll see.

I enjoyed reading all of these comments, pure entertainment . We do not know all the facts yet. As of now Kraft is just facing 2 charges of Soliciting Prostitutes. It's a Misdemeanor. So far he hasn't been charged with anything involving Human Trafficking. Human Trafficking is much worse. Still if he is guilty of Soliciting, what he did is Illegal and embarrassing. It will be interesting to see how this plays out regarding the law and the NFL. Never a dull moment with the Patriots it seems lmao

He was accused/alleged to have fathered the child of an actress he was routinely seen with and known to have been dating. However, I do believe is was AFTER his wife had died

They say there's a video of the 'act'.....its highly unlikely it wasn't him.

…..Its bad. He's got to plead guilty and face the heat.

But I dont know what you say publically...going forward

It might be time to let someone else be the face of ownership

Itsay was suspended?

Simple,   make the punishments for the johns far more harsh.

That wouldn't change anything except driving it deeper underground and raising the profits for the pimps/illegal organizations. Sex, drugs, liquor and similar vices can't be legislated out of existence ... you would have much more success going the other way and legalizing it.

Illegal is Illegal whether you like it or not

It's a nice saying, but surely you know that is not reality. All illegal acts are not created equal ... not only are there varying degrees of illegality, some things that are technically illegal shouldn't be (by any reasonable standard) and some laws are so outdated they aren't even actively enforced. I know you can't really believe that it is that black and white.
