Colts @ Chiefs 2019 AFC Divisional Round Playoff Game Thread

They are exploiting every one of our weaknesses.  Lack of pass rush , coverage ability on D.  Lack of wideouts capable of getting open on offense.

They’re playing us like second half of Texans playoff game and second Jaguars game. That’s why we need to stay patient  run and get some throws on first downs occasionally  instead.

If the Steelers want a 2nd round pick for AB I’d say we give them the jets pick.  Our receivers aren’t doing anything out there.

Boys and girls...we're not out of it yet

No, we're NOT out of it. We have fight left in us.

But just because something happened in the past does not mean that it will happen again. It was the second largest comeback in NFL history. To expect something like that to happen agains is unlikely.

I will consider this game a success if the Colts somehow score.  Even if it's 56-3 and it's against their backups.  You can't get shut out by this bad of a defense when you're going to get 10 possessions.

Eberflus didn't have these guys ready. At all. And shame on him for preparing more for a job he was never going to get.

Well one thing bout this D.  If u don't  get pressure with the front 4, an elite qb will pick u apart.  I am shocked by the chiefs D

Our oline is getting manhandled. That was the one thing I thought we could rely on.

Total yards going to be negative at the half?  FOUR straight three and outs.  Humiliating.

So. About how we’re gonna run all over them.

Kind of like we were supposed to run all over the Giants...

3rd and 6 and Ebron turns 5 yards for a catch. You have to get past the first down marker. It's the little things.

Basically, this comes down to pride and professionalism.  No team should quit in the divisional round of the playoffs.  No team.

At this rate we might as well go for it on fourth down. Same old soft colts team. Even the oline is playing soft when they were supposed to be nasty. Leonard is not playing like a all pro.

Yeah me too.  I haven't seen them play this good this year.

Wow this looks like the Jags game all over again. Except the Chiefs have an elite O.  Wow..i expected our D to struggle but our O is looking pathetic.

Are there really fans who would like to replace Luck??????

KC have come to play like no team has this year.

It is snowing and our Oline aren’t playing as good as they have.

the TEAM has crapped the bed today not just Luck.

you will see when brady is gone thats what happens .  i just want him to be more consistent that is my only issue with him .  he has amazing games but  then cant get a first and looks horrible even with our playoff losses manning played ok at least

It really is hard to explain because the ONE person you would expect to be Mr Clutch and Mr Consistent coming out of College was Luck.

But he really isn't.  He is very very very good. But I can't say I would want him to win ONE game in the clutch.

Something is just off with him.  Not sure what.

I still don't think his shoulder is right.

He is totally guiding the ball.  Watch when he throws over 10 yards.  His motion is like that of a girl throwing.  And has no confidence to go down field.

    • Another NFL Preseason Game Night, Colts fans!    A battle of  0-2  teams  seeking their first win in the 2019 NFL preseason play in Circle City, as the Chicago Bears come south on Interstate 65,  to play our Indianapolis Colts in both teams preseason meeting in four years.    Chad Kelly and Phillip Walker are the only other Colts quarterbacks available,  both listed in the training camp roster, and the team depth chart, probably available to play tonight, since neither Jacoby Brissett or Andrew Luck will play the rest of the preseason.   Current Bears Defensive Coordinator Chuck Pagano also returns to Indianapolis, where was the Colts Head Coach from 2012-2017.   Indianapolis and Chicago are playing their 16th all-time preseason game, with the Colts leading the all-time preseason series between the teams at 9-5-1.  Colts defeated the Bears in their last game, and visit to Indianapolis by the score of 23-11 back on August 22, 2015.   Indianapolis also  currently leads the all-time regular season series at 23-11, including  winning Super Bowl XLI over the Bears, their only playoff win  over Chicago.  Colts also defeated the Bears, winning 29-23, during both teams last regular season meeting also played at Lucas Oil Stadium (the building),  back on October 9, 2016.   Colts may play the Bears at Soldier Field, when the AFC South teams play the NFC North teams during interdivisional play in the 2020 NFL regular season.   Colts defeated the Bears  29-17 in Super Bowl XLI, during  the rainy, and then-named at the time, Dolphins Stadium At Miami Gardens, back on February 4, 2007.   The 2006 Colts team that finished 12-4 during the regular season were lead by  Head Coach Tony Dungy, and Super Bowl XLI MVP  QB Peyton Manning.   LOS's retractable roof might be open for tonight's 7:05 PM Eastern Standard Time kickoff, because the local gamecast around the stadium area is 75 degrees, 0% precipitation, 52% humidity, and  east/northeast winds at 11 miles per hour.   Great luck to all the Colts and Bears players, especially the backup players and reserves, as they continue to audition during their  training bears-week-3-camp, and the preseason games, on trying to make the cut to the final 53.   NO injuries, GO Blue Horseshoe, Win Your First Preseason Game, And Home Game In Your 2019 NFL Season, and LET'S GO COLTS!!!!!                 .    https://colts.com/news/bears-week-3-preseason-preview   https://colts.com/game-day/2019/pre/bears-at-colts/   https://nfl.com/gamecenter/2019082452/2019/PRE3/bears@colts   https://indystar.com/sports/colts   https://chicagobears.com/news/pagano-expects-an-emotional-return-to-Indy
    • Tom Brady wanted to trademark the nickname "Tom Terrific".    He lost.  The US Patent and Trademark office rejected Brady's request to trademark the term. Brady says he was trying to protect Tom Seaver's nickname. Lolol. Spare me, Brady.    “Has anyone ever even called him ‘Tom Terrific’?” Mr. Talansky said. “Was ‘Vainglorious Cheater’ already trademarked?”   Tom Brady Is No ‘Tom Terrific.’ Any New Yorker Can Tell You That. https://www.nytimes.com/2019/08/23/nyregion/tom-brady-seaver-terrific.html
    • Bummer that all the starters are out! I’m going with a group of friends, including some Bears fans(Boo!). Alot of people on here saying they feel bad for people going and that it’s too much money to go watch scrubs....Going to a game at Lucas is more then just watching the game. It’s about tailgating, hanging out with good friends and having a good time, razzing the opposing teams fans, all in fun of course, and also hanging out with fellow bleed blue colts fans! Same reason I went to watch the Cubs even during the bad years, the atmosphere and fans were awesome no matter what. I don’t really mind watching the second and third stringers fighting for their futures.    As far as price, I got a pretty good seat for $48, so can’t complain. It’s going to be a fun day no matter what, not going in with high expectations like I do during regular season.
    • Well, you are rounding into mid-season form early this year. Good Job
    • Walker did look much better last game compared to week 1, so props to him. Still, no comparison to CK. I had mixed emotions about bringing CK in, but now I really hope things work out. He looks "in command" and has a nice rhythm to his game. And he can make all the passes and has wheels.     I know it's only 2 preseason games, but I can understand now why Elway made him QB2 in Denver. It'll make parting with JB much easier.    IF he can keep his head on straight/.
