this is the patriots game all over again it is luck every one protects him so much on here .  in big games he goes 3 and out 10 drives straight and we blame the defense

Agree.

As much as I hate to say it, reminds me a ton of Peyton in the years before the SB.  He just never seems to be clutch.

Luck just does not play GREAT in the playoffs.  At times he plays good, never great.  I would say his best so far was the KC game at home.

Do you even know his record in cold weather games? Define what a cold weather game is?

I don’t consider 45 or 50 a cold weather game lol.

I should have known to stay off this forum after the first score.

Those of you saying “time for a new QB” need to just leave. If you think this is on Luck... You have problems.

Look probably very few of us thought this would be a win.  185 yards to 12, 10 first downs to 0.  This team quit.  They're getting completely manhandled on both sides of the ball.  Sure KC has a good offense.  Did anyone see them against the Rams?  3 three and outs is so ridiculous.

My prediction- KC doesn't punt in this game, and they get up by at least 6 TD at some point in the game.  It's a shame to look this bad at the end of a nice season.

The bad vibes started with Ebron drop

Yet it was another bad throw by Andrew in the short game. He is lost right now.
He won't give up.

They are exploiting every one of our weaknesses.  Lack of pass rush , coverage ability on D.  Lack of wideouts capable of getting open on offense.

Mahomes is no Alex Smith. This offense is way more explosive than that team

If you go 3 & out on every possession and the other team scores a TD on every possession, that is a failure of both offense and defense.  Nobody is blameless in that scenario.

knowing its the best offense is nfl history or at least top 3 and they score 30 plus every week even on the best defenses in the league .   when you are luck with a elite offensive line going against the worst defense in the league you have to score getting shut out is horrible and he is gonna keep doing it all game that is my issue with him when its bad it never gets better in game .   he only comes back when he is moving the ball first like the first chiefs game. with luck its either he looks horrible or great no in between i wanted him to be the next manning so bad

It's possibly the worst quarter played by any team in any game in playoff history.  So yeah, not good.

That was an incredible game.  I still don't fully believe that happened.

Not at all.

Been a great year.

Next year I think they have a great shot at the SB.

But they need more talent.  Especially at the LB position and on offense.

Tbh the only players I think are worthing keeping on O outside of the offensive line are Luck, Hilton, Doyle, Ebron/Doyle, and maybe Mack.

But if you can get Bell?  You get him.  If you can get AB?  You get him.

This is an offensive league now and you aren't going to win with the players have on O right now.

Lol.

I agree, Luck may not play great in the playoffs. But consider this.

Does this team make the playoffs without Luck? The problem is that Luck is sooo good that he will carry a bad or inexperienced team to the playoffs, like he did in 2012, 2013, and 2014. And now with this team.

So essentially, he's in the playoffs against better TEAMs. The Colts are young and inexperienced this team and nowhere as talented as the Chiefs. But give it time.

First downs in this game will look better by the end, they'll pull their starters but could still be 35-3 or 35-4 or so.  Just embarrassing.

    • He will never replace Luck for me, but he's slowly growing on me. The guy has talent. You can't deny him that.
    • Colts.com has Nelson wearing the blue pants with blue out being the theme for Sunday. Possible blue pants vs the broncos?
    • I'm guessing you didn't watch the game live? lol.
    • I gotta agree. Those trades smell of desperation...and unwashed jocks.
    • I've been optimistic about JB since we lost our starter (Rest his soul) . But every Sunday (because hes unproven) I get nervous about JB and lose faith. So far, hes done a very good job. Doing just enough to keep us in games.    Playing vs Houston and seeing how well he did (late game the whole team went prevent so not too worried there), gave me a lot more confidence. But it's hard to trust a guy who has to earn it in front of literally everyone in the league.    I'll tell you what I do like however.  Because Brissett doesn't have this mega obvious talent as a QB, they arent throwing the ball constantly. It's like because you have a franchise QB, you feel this need to throw the ball, even in situations you shouldn't. You rarely establish a ground game, and when you do, it is only in compliment to the pass.    The Colts keep winning in different ways. They are multifaceted. So they CAN and DO play to their opponents weaknesses, and and have the ability to play almost any kind of offense (from what we have seen so far)..   with a top 5-7 QB, you just pass more. Vs KC, we would have passed more with any of the top 5 QBs in the NFL. But we didnt. Because we didnt have a top 5 QB to blur our vision from their weakness and our strength.. I think Frank experiencing this is great for our future. If JB becomes a top 10 QB (in most stats), this could mean heaps in the sense of valuing this team as a whole. Instead of everything being built around the QB, the team is built around the lines and go out.     Something I was thinking about earlier with Brady. It is my opinion that he is a system QB. He is the best system QB of all time. But hes in the perfect system for his strengths to flourish. Sometimes it's just better to have the right system QB. Maybe JB is the perfect system QB for our system. Just a thought guys.    We need to remember our addiction to winning as fans indeed blurs our own vision from seeing the true reality of things.
