Exactly right.  If you can't get open against THIS team playing man coverage- just wow.  Snow or no snow, cut everyone besides Hilton.

You know when I said your opening comment was moderate... you've ruined it since.

Exactly.

I said it last week and it got ignored.

Luck was NOT GOOD last week, especially the second half.  He was guiding the ball and throwing like a girl.  Just watch him.  Not sure if his shoulder is hurting or what but something is wrong.

Mahomes throws like Rodgers in the cold.  He zings it.

I bowl a lot and it is basically like watching a pro man bowler throwing it 19 MPH with a 550 RPM rate compared to a womens bowler throwing it 13 MPH with a 350 RPM rev rate.

Something is not right with Luck.

Trolls are back I see...

Our O is looking as overmatched as Ravens did vs Chargers. Except I think so far Lamar Jackson had better numbers than Luck has.

My goodness Leonard has looked terrible these playoff games.

Another thing I commented on  mid season.

Yes he is a good player but I think he has been fortunate at times this year getting some fluke plays in.

He is not Mack as LB.  Unless he gains 30 pounds he never will be.

Some people have already given up. But don't forget who's under center: Captain Andrew Luck. You can hop off the wagon if you want to, but I still believe!

Well we still have time but if that O doesn’t start moving, we are finished. D can’t stop the Chiefs.

How’s all that snow working out and slowing down KC?

Also, looks like that horrible KC defense showed up....

If the defense doesn't hold here, it's over. I know there's a lot of football left to be played, but it will be over.

The Chiefs have too much offensive talent for a comeback.

You kidding?  It's over now.  There was very little margin for error.

We all knew going in that we needed a pass rush.  This game should only make the case in full for Ballard.  Just like he fixed the O-line, he needs to fix this pass rush and get another wide receiver that can break coverages.

I hope he feels the walls closing in on him today and panic sets in.

We may see the Maniac in the backfield a couple of times today!

Looks like Andrew to me.

What sort of defense do you think we play? Because it's been pretty good on the back end of the season.

Guys..there's nobody open....

they are rushing a 4 and dropping 7 and we are losing the battle down field

We didn’t need to throw on third down. We picked up yards running on first and second we could of ran on third down and got it.

People who are calling for cutting everyone but Hilton??  Get out of here with that nonsense. Go support some other team if you don't like the Colts.

Probably still in that 15 scripted plays.  We'll see if things change this next posession.

It really is over. It was fun while it lasted. Now we have to throw the ball. Going to be rooting for the chargers now.

It's about pride now.  At least don't set any records today.  Needed to play a perfect game to win, that didn't happen.  Just don't completely embarrass yourselves.

Nor is he meant to be Mack in our system...

This is the curse of the cover 2. Anyone remember those Dungy years?

Once you get up against the best QBs in the playoffs they KNOW exactly how to beat it.

Not at all.

Been a great year.

Next year I think they have a great shot at the SB.

But they need more talent.  Especially at the LB position and on offense.

Tbh the only players I think are worthing keeping on O outside of the offensive line are Luck, Hilton, Doyle, Ebron/Doyle, and maybe Mack.

But if you can get Bell?  You get him.  If you can get AB?  You get him.

This is an offensive league now and you aren't going to win with the players have on O right now.

    • He's certainly not irredeemable. There's just a lot more scrutiny that comes with the QB position, fair or not. You can be WR and do drugs, beat women/kids, and still get more chances. CK did none of that.   I'm pretty sure uncle Jim put a foot up his backside, and made a call to Frank. I hope that's enough (Jim's foot), and I think the Colts (and Frank) are a good spot to provide support for him.
    • I've been touting 2020 as "the year" for a while now.  I might be a year too early, but in watching the league this year one thing has struck me:  there aren't any truly "elite" teams out there.  Yes some are better than others, but IMHO the difference between the top and the bottom isn't as great as it used to be.  The Colts are clearly among the average teams, so I think with another shrewd draft (and that Skins round 2 pick sure looks good!) and a couple of impact FA's, I think this team can contend next year.  And Mr. Brady isn't going to be around much longer either.
    • Just to bring this back to last Sunday. Reich should of given hoyer all the snaps in practice.  Because if Jacoby could of went he would of  been fine with no reps. Then we would of had two QB prepared.
    • Agree 100% on Willis from a box perspective. He'll be very good if that's where they focus him. On Okereke, he gets swallowed up easily vs the run. I just don't see that improving a lot with his build. He came from one of the best strength programs in D1, so I just think he's topped out in that space as well. I think that's why they're trying him out in the SAM space.   I think Rock will be fine. Most of his errors are "rookie" type errors you can expect being tossed into the deep end. Physically he's fine. I think the mental part will catch up.
    • That is exactly why the Colts are what they are and the Patriots are a dynasty.  That emotional attachment did not serve Irsay well during the Pagano & Griggson era...did it?   He lost a franchise quarterback as a net result of all of this misplaced attachment because stayed too long with Griggson and Pagano who could not keep Luck out of harm’s way.   Vinny is a legend who has great exploits on his resume.  We get it.  However, I’d argue that most of his greatness was earned wearing another team’s uniform...the Patriots.  He kicked them to 3 Super Bowl titles compared to one in Indy.  He made his name and reputation with the Patriots.  Sure he has played for the Colts longer but his formulative and most accomplished years were spent in New England. And still Belichick had no problem letting him walk in 2005 when he perceived it to be in the best interest of the Patriots.  If Vinatieri was stinking it up like this with the Pats this year he would surely be gone by now...and wisely so.  But Ballard, Reich and Irsay are led by the heart strings (as you imply) and as a result the team suffers on the field.  It’s a bad message sent to the rest of the team.  Certain players can under perform and be rewarded solely on the basis of who they are and what they have achieved in the past.  While others are held accountable for poor play.  It’s a double standard that eats away at that  locker room “culture” that Ballard supposedly values so much.  Well...we are no longer living in the past and the present day Adam Vinatieri is a liability on the field to this football team.  A liability that teams like the Colts choose to live with to their detriment.  That’s not admirable...it is downright foolish in my opinion.
