At this point, who can really believe the Patriots. I'm not surprised anymore. And to be honest, if the NFL justtakes the Pats word and ignores all the circumstantial evidence and buys all the coincidences that the Pats are asking of them, I'll no longer take the sport seriously. And if thats the case, I won't really care to watch it. It'll be like college football, the NBA and MLB to me. Those leagues cater to certain markets and want the advantages in the major markets. Its why I don't really watch anymore. The NFL will have become that. Call me a fake or fairweather fan, but I just don't care to watch a sport that isn't based on parity and fair, competitive play. I fear the NFL will come out of this permitting, in a way, cheating. -

I never one time said he wouldn’t amount to anything. You made that up. I said he will never be a franchise QB and he never will be. The only reason he is on the roster is bc our average Qb got hurt. He wasn’t even dressing for games and the current backup is below average and a turnover machine. He may develop into back up material. I do hope the kid does well for himself but troublemakers are their own worst enemy. -

wonder if he's irritated with Seattle too, who also waived him... lol. Sounds like he needed a year off to work on his desire anyway lol -

I don't think anyone thinks it's easy. I think most simply would prefer risk to settling. Teams draft and replace players every year. Just because it's the "QB" position doesn't mean fans will be content with less than average or average. If anything, they're willing to accept more risk. We're not a rebuilding team like Cinci or Miami. One side of O (running) is very good, and our OL is top 5. We're one of the better teams in terms of landing spots for a rook QB, so the risk is likely less here, than a place like Miami or Cinci... -
He just needed more time to “develop.” I see a T. Jennings comeback!
