So glad to see Dallas lose. I didn’t want us to be the  only team that didn’t have a bye lose. I think all 4 teams who had a bye will win.

Unless when a #6 seed made it to the SB (2010 Packers and 2005 Steelers), the night championship game winner since 2004 has won the SB (except when Cam Newton lost).

2008 Steelers 

2009 Saints

2011 Giants 

2012 Ravens 

2013 Seahawks 

2014 Patriots 

2016 Patriots 

2017 Eagles

 

all played night championship games and won SB.

 

Funny part is that pattern skips every 5 years since 2004 - 2005, 2010, 2015

On the downside, since the Cowboys made it to the Divisional Round this year, expect the NFL and the Cowboys to lobby Congress to pass a law to federally require the Cowboys be aired on TV across the entire country and on every channel to boot next season.
