Packers to hire Titans OC Matt LaFluer as new HC

This to me sounds like the Packers believe Mariota is just not all that good, because Lafleur didn't really do anything of note with Mariota. Hell you can argue Mularkey's offense looked more promising with Mariota than whatever this year's Titans offense was supposed to be.

Seriously, this was a surprise.  I figured they would go with an experienced Head Coach, but maybe they think a young guy will listen to Rodgers and and older guy wouldn't?

Josh McDaniels was linked to the Packers and Browns, no way he is going to a division rival Jets or Dolphins. Now, one by one, they are not going to sit around and wait like Ballard did last year. I am just waiting for the Browns' HC shoe to fall.
