I just asked Bob Sacamano what he thinks of Stacey Dales. His response, "The best"

Just hoping the game winning play is not helped outcome-wise by the weather ……….. GO COLTS !!!!!

I think the defense on both sides will have trouble because they don’t know where the offense is going.

Mahomes looks very cold out on the field just now.

Something that might come into play: Mahommes has 9 fumbles this year. We can only hope.

Both Dlines will be at a disadvantage with a slick field.

This helps the colts offense more than the cheifs, but hurts the speed of our defense more than them as well

I feel like you have been told this at a certain point, or points......  as have we all on broadcasts.  In truth however, that advantage, if any, is slight to nonexistant.  You can't cut or plant in this weather any better just because you know where or when you want to go...  This weather slows everyone down, thus affecting timing and rhythm plays by the offense..... it's a wash.  It effects the same type of movements and reactions for both teams, offense and defense.  The whole "offense has an advantage because they know where they want to go" adage is overplayed and parroted by tons of media talking heads, don't see many actual players mention it often.....

Speed will be limited for 2 guys running stride for stride in the same way....

In weather like this I think it could come down to turnovers.  A big turnover giving your offense a short field could be huge.  While neither Luck or Mahomes have a lot of history in bad weather Mahomes does have a fumble problem as you have pointed out in good weather.  Hopefully it shows up today like it did for the Ravens QB last week.

With as many games as hubby and I have watched this season, I just realized that a Colts' game hasn't been one of them!  We will be watching this afternoon and rooting for you guys.  Good luck!

If we don't make it out of this alive, I'll be rooting for y'all to go all the way. Rivers and Gates deserve a ring.

I’ve been watching some warm up videos. You can hear the wind whipping. This is going to be one interesting game.

Glad we have Adam.  Having the greatest clutch kicker ever might come into play today.

Look at it this way.  We will be camouflaged in color rush WHITE.

You definitely won’t see vinatieri kick the ball with that white beard.   The ball will come out of nowhere then through the goal posts.

How wrong was I on that.  I’m so sad.

Msybe Jim Irsay will give him 10 K for trying, like his dad did with Toni Linhart !

    • If Hoyer is on the field, it's pretty much already over. I don't think Hoyer can teach Brisset anything we would want him to learn.   Did they try to get a 7th? I didn't see that.
    • Archie Manning had a terrible W/L % too    You can’t win games with inferior pieces around you
    • I'll trust CB and FR over the Kelly fan club.   They couldn't even get a 7th for him
    • By showing me the stats you would actually be proving me right.  Because despite Peyton’s great stats we still didn’t win.  So like I said great stats don’t guarantee Super Bowls.  And the reason I call Peyton’s playoff performances underwhelming is because of the statistical marvel he showed us he was capable of being.  Just couldn’t get over the hump or out the gate more often than not in the playoffs.    Now it wasn’t all his fault but let’s not make excuses either. How many home field playoff openers did we lose under Peyton?  Here is our point totals in playoff losses under Peyton starting with his 2nd season:  16 points, 17 points, 0 points, 14 points, 3 points, 18 points, 24 points, 17 points, & 16 points.   So the greatest statistical QB of all time (according to me anyway) could only reach 20 points once in these games that ended our season & it wasn’t on him?     Not fully but he deserves a large large portion of the blame because could roll out the bed and score 20 points 90% of the time.  But I’m not trying to bash Peyton.  I’m just saying stats aren’t everything. We’ve tried the Peyton approach. Get the Super QB & build around him.  We had good statistical success but probably didn’t reach our potential.   I’d like to try the Patriots approach now.  Build a great team and let the QB grow with the team.  We don’t need it to be all about the QB (yet).  I’m sure those games are coming though.  We’ll see if JB has the chops to be clutch in crucial moments. If not, we’ll get somebody in here who does. But even then I hope it’s not all about them either but still more team focused.     And I hope CK clears waivers and makes it onto the practice squad.  He needs to stay here and learn & master our system.  Then come back next year and secure the no. 2 spot or even challenge JB for his job.  He doesn’t need to go try to learn some new system & be behind all of the guys already there & maybe struggle if given a rushed opportunity. Then he may not get another chance.
